I realise that piano lessons on music theory can be rather fun.
Especially when your piano teacher is an eccentric, middle-aged Polish woman.

(On 20th century music)

Piano teacher: there is a concert at Esplanade about Prokofiev, Stravinski, ... and 20th century music. And after concert everyone will go to the toilet and vomit and die because of such great amount of incredible stupidity in one night! ... You know, the Russian music, it so loud, and vulgar. ... 20th century music, in one word, it is senseless. Incredibly stupid. During the 20th century there's this guy who cut words out from newspaper and put in hat and take words out to make lyrics to music. This, also, another symptom of stupidity.

Piano teacher: The English, they so nationalist, have all the names of the English composers in book. Ah... Byrd, Dowland, Gibbons, you know when I think of Gibbons I think of a monkey!

Also, I spotted several names I could make jokes out of, for example, "Byrd" and "Gibbons"
and "Ireland" and "Britten".

What a stupid post!

Why are some people so petty and why aren't others?

I had a sudden urge to write here after reading 'sa's all-too-true blog posts.

Today we had a briefing about our relationships between parents and ourselves. I appreciate the fact that the parents actually took time off to come to Nanyang for this (redundant) talk. Not that they didn't give good advice. It's just that, every parent is different.

I hate it when she does that. It sickens me. It is horrible to hear your own mother use sarcasm on you. I don't appreciate it AT ALL. I know I didn't do well for these end-of-years, alright? So I might go back to my slacking ways but I AM TRYING. I HATE it when you PUSH ME and make me do things I'm not even FUCKING CUT OUT FOR. I'm not even asking you to tolerate the fact that I got mostly Bs, just to understand and give me time. Have you not heard of the giant leap from Sec 2 to Sec 3? Plus, I'm talking about TEN subjects here. So I would really really really really really FUCKING LOVE IT if you could just stop criticising me at every fucking single chance you get and instead, encourage and try to motivate me.

Sam and I had a fun day yesterday!

(It wasn't productive)

We walked around Orchard. Ion. Wisma. Takashimaya. You know, the usual places. And we went to places like Forever 21, New Look and Zara.

I know what you're thinking. Seriously. Do I even look like the kind of person who hangs out in Zara??

Ha, yeah. Only we weren't really shopping. Forever 21 had really lame shades, Zara had nice t-shirts but all of them were overpriced, New Look seemed like a spin-off from Topshop, Bebe was goth. It totally caters to the Cullen family. (Cullen'mon gotta catch 'em all! okay. inside joke.)

That pretty much sums up my day yesterday. And after Sam left I walked aimlessly around Plaza Singapura and went to Spotlight and met Kylie and gang (:

I am posting rather frequently these days. *yawns*

I have been very unproductive. And I am contributing to global warming by constantly using the computer. At the same time, I am only worsening my eyesight.

Yay at least tomorrow I am going to Penang. But then it mightn't be very fun.

Exams are finally over, but somehow I feel no sense of liberation.
It's only 1.05 yet it feels like it's 3 pm.
