Josh got Tagged...

Josh got tagged by his cousing Olivia. So here goes,

Five things you don't know about Josh...
Josh is the youngest of three and has two older sisters, one of which is a teenager. So as you can imagine there are always girls around. You would think, poor Josh the only boy but not Josh. He finds a brother whereever he can. If you ask him he has five brothers. Winston, Hendrix (both his dogs), Copper (our dog we lost last year), Speedy (his turtle who he's sure is a boy) and Billie (our cat who died 18 months ago). He talks about the "boys" all the time, even the dead ones. Maybe it's a coping mechanism?

Josh does not take a car ride without playing the "American Flag Game" a game he made up himself. He counts all the American Flags he can and it's a contest with the other passengers of the car. (It has really helped his counting, educational?) The most he's counted is over 100 on a holiday weekend trip to Provo. He loves flag day as you can imagine.

When Josh was a toddler he knocked out most of his left front tooth. He had to have surgery and have if fixed. So half of that tooth is fake. Who would have thunk? (Actually I think you can tell :>)

Remember that part in ET when ET is hiding in all of the stuffed animals. That is how Josh looks when he sleeps (shout out to Olivia). He barely has room for himself but will not put any of his animals on the floor! Some of them even need covers. Wow! It's alot of work tucking them all in.

Josh has inherited a trait, that's been passed down from me (but his aunt Kristen also has a good knack for it). He can quote movie lines at appropriate moments. He's pretty good at it. It helps that both his parents and his sisters, especially Baylee, also do this. One of the movies he loves to quote is Elf. He tells Baylee every night before bed: I love you, I love you, I love you! It's cute!

So now you know a little about Josh: We tag Cooper, Aubrey and Robby.

Island Park

It was time once again for our annual cabin trip with the Redd's (we were sad that the Westenskow's couldn't make it this year :<)

This year we headed up to Laura's faimly cabin in Island Park and took a couple day trips into Yellowstone. A good time was had by all!!

We took the kids fishing. Chris and Brett spent all their time putting worms on the hooks and no one caught anything but the kids had fun:

We saw Old Faithful after a long wait and beautiful waterfalls

We even caught a glimpse of a moose in the river, or at least that was what Chris insisted he saw, made Brett turn the car around to show the kids and found it was nothing more than a tree in the river.

We did see quite a few elk, and weird lady posing way too close to a buffalo?

The guys took the kids fishing out on the lake and Autumn caught a great one!

The little guys didn't last a long as the dad's but it was exciting!

All in all a great trip, Thanks Redd's!

Do you like the look of my new blog? Thanks to my sister in law Tammy it's been updated and I may even remember how to keep adding cool new things :>

We had yet another birthday at our house so I thought I'd give you the scoop...

Josh turned 5 on September 17th. We only had a count down for about 3 months so we were all glad when the day finally came. As with most birthdays at our house, Chris was out of town so we rounded up some cousin's (Kristen is always a sucker for a good time) and headed out bowling. Fat Cat's didn't know what they were in for but we all had a good time. Here are the photos to prove it:

When Chris got back into town we had Josh's real birthday party, 16 kids at the Tree House. It was fun but tiring. Thanks again to Kristen for helping out. She might want to consider hiring herself out to be a Birthday Party Assistant?? What do ya think Kristen? Also want to thank Baylee for being a good sport and helping with the kids :>

The kids had a great time but I am so done with Birthday Party's for a while (until Kaity's in May)!!
