Callie and Ellie's Room

The girls' room is probably my favorite room in the house.  There is a possibility that I like Toby's/guest room better, but that might be just because it stays clean.  Back in October when we told them they would be sharing a room in the new house, it was like telling them they could eat ice-cream every meal. We spend a lot of time in their room.  Besides the outdoors, the girls' imagination blooms the most in that room.  Callie spends some of her day making her bed "Nancy" (aka, Fancy), Elliott renacts many mommy and baby conversations with her doll house toys, and I find both of them jumping on their beds at least once a day...which is totally allowed in our house.  But, hands down I love it the most when they imaginative play together.  That room has produced professional tent makers, clothes organizers, Fancy Nancy and JoJo (Fancy Nancy's little sister) actors, the world's most beautiful butterflies, the...

Here is just the beginning of making it look worse before it can look better-

Fixing a hole in the wall-

Ceiling painted, patches fixed, now deciding on colors-

Decided on Eucalyptus Leaf from Home Depot-

Now deciding on whether to paint the "unique" panelling on bottom brown or white-

And now with the wood floors refinished and all their stuff-

The table my dad crafted for me as a little girl.                   This is Callie's side of the room.

Elliott's side of the room.

Their rug is 6 cheap 2x3 rugs sewn together.

Sister wall.                                                                          Good bag holder..thanks to pinterest.

Girl's clothes closet. Toy closet. Wedding dress closet. Tornado closet. Hat closet.

Play. Play. Play.

Next house post will be the kitchen!
