the bumbo seat

this thing is so cool! it's ugly but it is still cool. you can put your kid in this seat as soon as they can hold their head up. it's so cute and it gives her a whole new perspective. here are some pics from this week in her new chair...what a big girl! (don't you love this last picture?!)

she rolled over!!!

on monday i put kamdyn down on her tummy for her nap, as always. when i went to get her she was on her back! the first time i went in there i thought it was probably a fluke and she was pretty much on her side when i put her down. so i turned her back on her tummy and an hour later when i heard her wake up, i went in there to get here and here's how she was:

dirty rotten doggies

some of you have been asking why our dogs are wearing these stupid lamp shades. a couple of weeks ago they both got these huge sores on their faces in the same spot. they were disgusting. so we finally took them to the vet and it turns out they both had bacterial infections. real encouraging when the vet says to keep them away from the baby. anyway - they are getting much better and hopefully the hoods can come off sometime in the near future.

a new porch

we are so excited about having a place to sit in the back yard! zack worked so hard this past weekend and built this porch so we could have some patio furniture. he did such a good job, it looks great! i am so mad i forgot to take a "before" photo. he had to dig up stepping stones, get rid of the grass, level the dirt, etc. it was a lot of work for someone who is no longer in his 20's! he worked way too hard for his birthday weekend but it was well worth it!

3 months old!

i can't believe kamdyn is already 3 months old! just like everyone says, it really does go by fast. she is such a joy and we are so thankful for the past three months. she is learning to talk more, make new noises, and starting to discover control in her hands. it is so fun to watch her develop!

grandmommy and granddaddy were in town last weekend and kamdyn finally got to meet granddaddy! he came outside when we pulled up and took her from me right when i pulled her out of her car seat! it was great. she was so smiley and happy the whole time he was holding her. we are so lucky that she gets to know her great grandparents!





brooke and austin love to play with her! we got to see them yesterday and they are so sweet to her. austin said, "she is a cutie cutie cute!" and brooke still calls her "baby kamdyn" and likes to strap all her babies into kamdyn's car seat. cousins are the best!
