wow - i am a bad blogger. i can't believe i have not updated this thing since august! i blame facebook. it's only a thousand times easier to upload photos on there and i can do it straight from my phone. so that is my excuse. :) anyway - here are our little bumble bees - i hope everyone is having a happy halloween!

i know, i know. i'm a bad, bad mommy blogger. i am a good business blogger though. seriously. let's hope that does not roll over into the non-blogging world.

anyway - we just got back from san antonio and i PROMISE i'll blog some images from our trip. we had a FABULOUS time and were not ready to come home. one morning i grabbed the camera when we were eating breakfast outside in our pajamas. crazy hair, just rolled out of bed. but love the raw emotion of these. i'm sure you can see them bigger on my other blog.

kyler turns two!

i honestly can NOT believe that kyler has turned two! she is getting to be such a big girl! she is cracking us up lately - totally sassy with her recent hair cut, talking up a storm, jumping off everything she can, wanting to do everything herself, admiring her big sister and still being so cuddly and lovable!

we had a low-key family birthday party for her and had a great time! jennifer from little house tees did an awesome job on her birthday shirt! i sent the design that jennifer did over to laura at carter custom cakes and she did this aWeSoMe cake!!! we were all so impressed and loved that kyler matched her cake! it did not hurt that the cake was delicious!!!

a big thank you to our family who helped make kyler's birthday special. we love you guys!

a trip to east texas

last weekend the girls and i took a trip to tyler to visit my best friend from college - mo! and of course her adorable, sweet little girls. thankfully they were near tyler so we were able to meet there for a couple of nights. we had such a great time with all these little girls in one hotel room! mo brought shirts for the girls to paint, as you can see below. i think they turned out cute! but not as cute as all the girls!!! i really wish we lived closer so we could see each other more and our girls could be close friends. but it is nice to be able to see each other every now and then. we also got to visit jen & trey and meet their girls but of course i forgot to take my camera to their house. :) over all it was a wonderful weekend of catching up with old friends!

fourth of july

we went to el paso this weekend for the fourth - you can pretty much see what we did the entire time by these pictures. i will say it started a little rough with major delays on our flight at the extremely crowded dallas airport - the kids did pretty good, considering but we'll share a couple of those aiport pics as well.

kyler's first hair cut!

so i finally took the girls to mrs. sharon today to get their hair cut! kamdyn has had hers cut a couple of times and just needed a trim. she went first to show kyler how it's done. kamdyn even ended up getting it washed...such a big girl! then she ended up being such a sweet sister and holding kyler's hand so she felt comfortable. they both did great...we ended up taking some major inches off kyler's and giving her a cute little bob! hopefully it will help it to grow out more evenly. it's pretty darn cute but man, it makes her look older!!!
