6.49pm: I'm home. :) (Ming will probably kill me for this)

Been a while since I last wrote, cos there was nothing really happening going on in my life. Lets see, Monday to Thursday last week was not too bad, Friday was way better (Duh! TGIF!). I met Ming for some drinks at WineBar. I know I damn suaku, but that was the first time I had a Cosmopolitan. :/ Then, together with a friend, headed to Grand Copthorne for dinner. Wahlaoeh I tell you chocolatebananastrawberrywhatnot ah, the Nasi Goreng / Nasi Padang thingie was actually quite good. I guess what you pay is what you get. After dinner (or if you would call eating at 10pm supper), we trotted (more like cabbed) off to ButterFactory. That place really reminds me of Cocolatte, or SOS (the old Momo, where I first lost my clubbing virginity to). Close to midnight, I left to go home. So anti-climax, I know.

Went home to JB the first time ever since goodnessknowswhen on Saturday. Mummy cooked alot of yummyfood, and I was seriously just stuffing my face with all her cooking (and ba chang). It was good to be home, to have Mummy pampering me, to have Mummy cooking all the yummy food, to have Mummy nagging at me to pack my stuff for the Europe trip.

Speaking of which, OMG OMG. Europe is just 5 days away. To be more precise, I'm less than 101 hours away from flying off from Changi. Bliss, total bliss. 14 days in Europe (inclusive of 2 days in the airplane). -dreams-

But I still feel for taking leave from work at a time like this, when its the peak of the sales cycle now. :(

Okay, need to do some laundry now (!!!). LATER!

GRAD PICTURES ARE HERE! :)

Won't say much, I shall let the pictures do the talking.

Probably the only one to receive 2 bouquets of flowers that day! One from Mum & Sis, and the other one from the boyfriend. :) Very pretty hor!

Waiting for our turn to go up on stage. Maria and I made a mess of our on-stage order. Luckily everything okay in the end, if not, I would have been Maria, and Maria would have been Serene.

Mummy, Daddy! Your daughter is finally a diploma graduate after three years of blood, sweat and tears!

With Mummy who came all the way from JB, and boyfriend who kinda sacrificed his job to attend my graduation.

I love you Mummy! Mwah!

Okay, I look retarded here but I was really happy. :) The only picture with the boyfriend, cos he had to rush back to work after that.

EEE. Fat gospel singer.

Our sleeves look retarded. Wahaha. My two very good char bor peng you.

Like seriously, Ayumi lookalike.

Group peekture! With Ming MIA-ing.

Serene Loo YS, Gabriel Wong QH, Jenny Yeap CT.

Bummer, Lawyer, Bummer.

With Mr Ramani!

With Mr Millians, and Jenny. Jenny, remember Locvid?

Speech Comm's Ms Cordelia.

Derobed: In case you didn't get to see what Jenny had underneath her robes. So pretty la!

I think I took the most pictures with you, Choi Theng.

Fiona!

Auntie Aggie! Eh, our shirt quite similar hor. Exept my stripes are whiter. HAHA.

And finally, a special tribute to the photographer of the day, Daphne, my sister.

And since I'm finally a graduate, it gives me a licence to act cute. For once, just once.

Bye bye Mass Comm, I'm really gonna miss you dearly. Friends, late nights, sleepovers at TriMedia room, Mc Donalds delivery, sweat, blood, tears. So much more memories than just the above-mentioned.

One thing I know for sure, it was a bloody good three years.

Its Friday night, and I got back before 11pm, and a booze free Friday night at that. I feel like an angel. Hurhur.

So, Thursday was graduation day. I'm finally a diploma holder (nothing to wow about though). It was a gooooood graduation, I must say. All the people I love was there. Mummy was there, Daphne was there.
Boyfriend was there for the entire ceremony, but the moment it ended, he had to rush off to work. :( I didn't get to take many pictures with him. :( :( But baby, I really appreciate you being there. I know I'm not understanding, I know I'm selfish, but I still want to thank you for being there on one of my bigger days. I love you!

Wished Daddy, Doreen and Elaine was there though. Oh well, there's always my university graduation day.
Haven't gotten my hands on the gazillion pictures I took, but here's a sneak preview. Albeit small, but its better than nothing, right?

If you wanna know why its so small, ask Jenny aka Ayumi Hamasaki lookalike hah!

Wow, the picture is REALLY small!

Hint hint, I hope to get the pictures soon Daphne, thanks very much!

I've finally gotten my PR thingie. Passport's stamped with the PR thingie, but I still have to make ANOTHER trip down to ICA to collect my blue IC (blah)! I spent a good five hours at ICA today, waiting to get my passport stamped for my Entry Permit and Re-Entry permit. How boring.

Aside that, my week has been pretty mundane.

Lets see, this evening, a colleague and I headed to Holland Village and I bought myself a pweeeety dress plus some pyjamas. Hurhur. We went to Fosters for a light dinner, and had ourselves some soup, escargot, chicken pie (came together with fries and salad, and OMG the serving was huge), and chamomile tea. I couldn't even finish half of my supposed "main course". The pie was really good, but I feel really bad not being able to finish it. Bumped into some people... Fellow MCM-er, Vanessa, is actually part-timing there! And I met Nasha after I came out from Fosters! It was a good, easy night spent having a good conversation and yummified food. :)

Speaking of which, I bought myself a pair of skinny jeans on Thursday, after my graduation ceremony, with Mummy and Daohne. I sms-ed Doreen to tell her I bought a pair of skinnies. And she was insulting me, saying its kinda an irony; skinny jeans and I. So, from now onwards, I shall call those fatty jeans, since I'm fat anyways!

Speaking of shopping, I got something here that might be of interest to you guys! WAREHOUSE SALE AT WING TAI INDUSTRIAL CENTRE!!!!

I'm going, I think!

Okay, its kinda pixelated. Details: 12 - 17 June 2007, 12pm - 7pm. Wing Tai Industrial Centre, 105 Tampines Road! Topshop. Topman. Dorothy Perkins. I here my wallet whining already.

Maybe there's not so much stuff left already, cos I slow lah, only received info on this.

Alright, I here the washing maching beckoning to me. Good night, you.

And so, I finally sent my Nokia 6280 for repair. Its been less than 9 months, but the screen, buttons, and slider is giving me problems already. I'm slowly losing faith in Nokia phones. Time to switch to Samsung.

Sorry if I've not been replying your sms-es. Thats because my screen is cranky. Grr.

It's so loserish cos I can only memorise a couple of numbers, like the home number, the boyfriend's, Syed's, Nadiah's, Jenny's, Ming... and a few others. Because my screen is spoilt, I can't even read my sms-es or look at the missed calls. :(

Had my performance review at work today. Won't reveal too much, but I think I'm on the correct track. Just got to work harder to close more deals = more commission. HAHA. But, as a colleague said something along these lines "money is the real motivating factor, that's what makes someone join the sales line." I used to disagree with that, but I find it kinda true now. When I look at my paycheck, it really gives me a sense of satisfaction. I guess if you work hard, it really pays off at the end of the day.

Digressing, I collected my medical report today. Everything's fine. No HIV, no TB. Choychoy. So that means I'll pretty much be half a Singaporean soon. Hurhur. CPF. :(

On a more playful note, I spent my Friday at Balaclava with a colleague and a few other friends. Most probably will be heading down again this Friday... The food was good! I don't know what those thingies are called. But its like Mexican-kinda-finger-food. Cheesy, spicy, beef-y or chicken-y fillings. The outside was wrapped with those flour-y pastries/prata looking kinda thing. Yum yum. Sorry ah, I'm not so "high-crass". The ice-cold Heineken was fantastic as usual. :) At about 11pm+, I headed to Chevrons to meet the BP armyboys for a little bit of hanging out + karaoke-ing. Its good knowing that you don't meet these people every week, but when you do, the conversations you have are actually very satisfying.

The main highlight of my weekend was of course, SHOPPING. I think I spent quite a bit, but it was like GSS at so many places, I just couldn't possibly hold back. I think I maxxxxxed out my shopping budget for the rest of the month. So here are my buys - 1 stripe-y working pants, 1 knee length white shorts, 1 black tights, 3 stylo-milo work tops, 2 tube tops, 1 belt + wallet for the boyfriend, facial blotters, errr, and I'm sure I left out something somewhere. But, I'm happy! Wheeee!

Not forgetting, Saturday was spent at FortCanning Park to celebrate Yihan's birthday. We had a picnic underneath the stars. There were quite a number of ants + mosquitoes though. But the food + good company made up for ir. Will post pictures on that eventful night soon (after Fiona, Syed, and Maria sends me the pictures. hinthint). Sexy Yihana, hope you had a happy twentieth. Botak soon, but you'll still be pretty okay, and me handsome! :)

Alright, its 11.15pm already. I need to shower, and snooze. Busy day tomorrow. You all have a great week ahead ya.

Sunday, June 03, 2007

I still can't believe I wasted my entire Saturday and Sunday doing nothing really productive except for cleaning up my room and doing the laundry. The weekend is almost over and tomorrow its back to w-o-r-k. So depressing. My life kinda feels like a vicious cycle, and girls, and boys, that's really unhealthy!

I live for time spent with my family, nights out with friends, and time with the boyfriend. (not in order of priority)

Friday was spent at the newly opened The Arena at Clarke Quay with Ming, and Elin together with some of their friends. We headed to Zouk/Phuture/WineBar after that, only to bump into more familiar faces from BPGHS and Mass Comm. Had some Scewdrivers, Bourbon Coke, Vodka Coke, Heineken, yada yada. Oh, and no two hours hugging the toilet bowl. I was the most sane the entire night among the two tipsy girls. In fact, I wasn't even tipsy. Nowhere near that. I think my liver is spoilt. Dah koyak. Mati lah dey. Met some new friends that night also. To sum it all up, it was just a usual night out with my favourite intellectual friend!

Nothing spectacular about my weekend, besides catching up on sleep.

And I just came back from dinner with the boyfriend, and the punda bear, Syed.

So, that sums up my Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Okay lah, in fact my weekend wasn't that bad. I've finally received a letter from ICA that confirms my residency status. So, hey! I'm finally (almost) a Singapore PR. That makes things so much easier for me actually. Though that means my pay will actually start getting deducted for CPF. Okay, I must look on the bright side, its actually forced savings for me. Still need to go for a medical checkup first before everything is solid confirmed guaranteed chopped, and waste a day's leave again. :(

OH OH OH. I got a new mouse from the boyfriend - a pretty and white RAZER mouse (and mousepad)which I've been eyeing on for quite some time already. I love you boyfriend, thanks so so much. Below are some pictures I got from the net. Super chio mouse and mousepad!

Nah, baby, a kiss for you, from meeee!

Some random pictures of us at Clarke Quay some time ago.... We had sausage + cheese at a Brit cafe with a Bangladeshi as the cook, and a Chinese lady as the cashier. HAHA! I'm not ractist okay.

I kinda like this picture cos we look so happy, except for Syed the pundabear who looks retarded as usual. Spoil the picture lagi.

Time to go to bed. Good night! Hope you won't have any Monday blueeeees.

Thursday, May 31, 2007

No, my Wednesday night was not spent hugging the toilet bowl. Instead of OOSH, my colleagues and I headed to Balaclava instead. As one of my colleague puts it, "Bala is my playground." Now I know why she loves Balaclava. The atmosphere there is pretty fantastic. Heineken, live band, good company. What more could one ask for on the eve of a public holiday?

That night, I met a couple of people. Friend's friends friends. When asked to guess my age, they thought I was in the range of 25-28. Which is HONESTLY VERY VERY SADDENING.

I'm nineteen people. Freaking nineteen.

Oh, oh oh! I forgot to mention, my colleague and I headed to LaSenza before Bala the other day. Wahlaoeh. Big sale. 50% off almost everything I think. I got myself pretty sleepwear. :) Maybe I should go back to get some of those pretty panties.

I'm a happy girl today because I met Saylin aka Sally. I missed him so much since somebody has been so busy the past couple of weeks. We paid our favourite Holland Village a visit. Breko for lunch, Haagen-Dazs for dessert. Boy oh boy, I was stuffed. Seeing him REALLY does harm to my waistline (Not that its very defined to begin with).

Tomorrow, its back to reality after heaploads of fun. But TGIF tomorrow! That means the weekend is coming. Whee. :)

Maybe I should head to Balaclava again. Whee. That would give me something to look forward to.

Good night everyone, and have a good weekend!

Daphne: Got to know nuffnang through kennysia.com and xiaxue.blogspot.com. HAHA. I think you can qualify easily for the hits lor.
