Halloween

Carving and painting pumpkins

Kenslee designed hers and made it a gorgeous princess pumpkin. Cade did a great job painting his pumpkin and the counter.

Oh, I love HALLOWEEN! It was so much fun dressing up my kids. I didn't have much say in what Kenslee was being this year. It had to be Cinderella. She did make a gorgeous Cinderella.
I saw this costume for Cade and I couldn't resist. He made the cutest little golfer. I loved his hat, it would slip down and squish his eyes and make his ears poke out.

Cade wasn't very happy here. Kens was such a little poser. She was in heaven being her favorite princess.

Waiting for her friends to come to go trick-or-treating.
I know, I look BEAUTIFUL in my princess gown. My friend got this after halloween last year, so I asked if I could borrow it (it is a couple sizes too big for both of us). Kenslee wanted me to be sleeping beauty, so I surprised her with this! She was a little confused because it wasn't pink and I didn't do my hair right. Then she expected me to wear it out, Billy would not allow that. It was fun to wear for a few pictures and twirls!
My cute kiddos and me (wow that dress!)
Billy was a terd and made the excuse that he didn't have any golfer clothes or prince attire. I am sure I could have come up with something amazing if he would have let me. So he was just boring Billy. He really isn't that boring, he is actually pretty fun!!
All of the kids!Trick-or-Treat! Kenslee and her friend Millie held hands the entire time. It was really funny because they would get so busy talking they would forget for a second what they were doing. Kenslee would always make a request for chocolate when she went to the doors. That's my girl, thanks for all of the yummy chocolate.
My boys!

We went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood, then we headed over to our friends house for some yummy chili. It was such a fun night.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!!

Pumpkin Patch and a little more...

We made these spooky masks. The yearly trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We were hoping to get there a few more times, but it was so rainy this October. We were lucky to make it there once.

Kens and Cade loved playing in the hay.

Cade loves pumpkins, he will point them out whenever he sees one.
We had our friends kids for a weekend. I was downstairs and Cade and Elizabeth thought it was so funny to shake the gate.
Scary...
Kens was all ready for her field trip to the pumpkin patch with her class. It ended up being closed because it was too muddy. Bummer. We went to Boomerangs instead.
Jack-o-lantern Sandwiches

Cute boy! He just got another tooth, he was so whiny for a couple of days. Now we know why.
Standing up saying "so big".
Watching us make Halloween cupcakes. I love this face!
MMmmmmmmm...they look delicious! Kens loves the holidays just as much as me. It is so fun to do all of the holiday activities with her.
