Jolly Old St. Nick

It is Christmas time...Yahoo!
It has been a great holiday season so far, we have done fun activities and I have a list of more to come.
We learned one thing this year about the kids and Santa Clause. The first time is a charm, only have your kids sit on Santa's knee once a year. We got to see Santa Clause twice this year. The first time, Kenslee and Cade loved him. Kenslee was smiling and told him what she wanted for Christmas (toy make-up, what a girl), and we got a very cute picture of the two kids.
A couple of days later we went to another party and Santa was there (with a professional photographer). I put Kenslee on his knee and she was ok for a second, then she started to cry. We gave up and just had Cade sit on his lap and he wasn't happy either. I was hoping for a cute picture of the two kids and Santa, but what can ya do!

Kens is proud of our tree, she says "we did a good job, it looks beautiful"
Daddy and the kids watching a little football together. He is also setting a good example by eating cheesy chips and letting Kens have crumby crackers on the coach, no harm done, just need a handy vaccuum. (We are in the process of potty trianing, that's why Kens is half naked...I am looking to hire someone...Potty trainer WANTED!!)
Cade is lovin' football

Valkommen till Sverige!

For the few of you that don't know Swedish, that means "Welcome to Sweden!" Our little family is on its way to Stockholm, Sweden for 6 months starting mid-February! Billy is doing a transfer to the Stockholm office for his job, so they're moving us out there for 6 months. It's really a great opportunity and benefit that his job provides, and we're very excited. While we don't know Swedish, we hear that most people there speak English as well, so we should be in good shape. Apparently we also need to get used to eating reindeer!

February is likely to be a bit colder in Sweden than it is here in Dallas, but hopefully our trip home to Utah for a couple of weeks this month will help acclimate us a bit. If you're going to be around in Utah anytime between Dec 19th and Jan 6th, let us know so we can get together!

McGuire Look-alike Meter

MyHeritage: Family tree - Genealogy - Celebrity - Collage - Morph

I have seen these on a few of my friends blogs so I thought I would give it a whirl. I don't know maybe my kids do look equally like Billy and I(I think they are a pretty good mix), but I swear on any of the ones that I have seen it always says it is equal or just a couple of percents one way or the other. I am starting to wonder if it just doensn't want to make you feel bad that your child doesn't look like you. It was fun to do anyways!
