The starting of a great adventure. Ever wondered how they get these boats into the river? They can't let them go on their own power they have to walk them down slowly.

Anyone for an exciting cold dip?  This was about a 15 foot jump that most people enjoyed. Thankfully I was the photographer and did not partake.

Home sweet home. A nice camping spot under giant Ponderosa pines.

Where will the river leads us to?   Just in life to the next new adventure.

Icy Spikes

This plant is a clematis. It is a climbing vine-like plant with beautiful flowers that might bloom twice a year - spring and late fall. The metal umbrella had nice ic formations on it and the dead leaves gave it some character.

This photo I thought about when I went out to the newspaper but didn't get around to taking the picture for about two hours. It's a branch of the plum tree in front of the house.
