January

One of my goals for this year is to post to the blog once a month. I hope someone out there reads it still :)

January, can you believe that its over!! Although Christmas does seem forever ago, this month has gone by pretty quickly. It was hard adjusting back to real life after our 3 week break with Morgan not working in December but Ethan and I started a good routine and he is taking naps much better now because of it.

Ethan is extremely happy when he wakes up in the morning and right before going to bed. I just can't get enough of that little smile with the small dimple!

This month Ethan has decided to forget how to roll from his tummy to his back. This is what he does instead...
Maybe he will become a pilot!

I can't tell you how much I love this age! When people told me it would get better they were right :) Ethan is so good-natured and rarely cries. He loves to make all sorts of noises and whenever I look at him he gives me the biggest smile that melts my heart. He has beautiful, big, blue eyes and I love his long blond hair that only grows in the center of his head!

We introduced baby food to Ethan this month and he is a great little eater. This is his sign for "feed me more food" he barely has time to swallow before he opens that little mouth again like a baby bird!

He is pretty good at sitting up by himself and has pretty good balance (thanks to all the flying he does).

We had quite a few visitors come this month. First, Kurtis and Tristan Hall came from DC to see our new place. We went to the Fort Worth Stockyard Parade and then walked around the stockyards a little.

At the end of January, my parents came out to visit (I didn't get a picture) and Grandma Cox came to visit which was a lot of fun. We LOVE visitors.

One of our adventures this month was going to Dallas while Morgan had a business lunch. Ethan and I walked around the new park and the Dallas Museum of Art. I decided to break out his sunglasses and see if he would wear them and he didn't take them off once!

Thanks for reading our blog! See you in February.
