Meet my mom--the Food Nanny! The book is now on sale...you can find it at TheFoodNanny.com, Deseret Book, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble. She has helped me create a home where we have healthy and delicious meals every night. Everyone in my family looks forward to dinnertime! Thanks mom.

I hope that you will check out her website @ the food nanny.com and preview her book. I promise you are going to love it! She has ideas that make dinner planning fun and less stressful. For example: I always know that Mon. is comfort food night, Tues. is Italian night, Wed. is meatless/fish night, Thurs. is Mexican night, Fri. is pizza night....etc....it takes the "coming up with dinner" stress out of my life. You can create your own "meal nights" designed around you and your family's tastes. It's fun because everyone in the family has that ONE night (or more :) ) they look forward to each week. When I was younger--I looked forward to my mom's tacos on Thursdays...couldn't wait for dinner. Now, I make them every Thursday. Colin loves Italian night....! It's fun. The recipes are amazing!!!

Anyway, we've had a great time visiting our family and friends. We are happy to be back in the U.S. It's good to be home.

Happy Birthday, Colin!

We had such a fun day at FuLong Beach (east coast of Taiwan) with some friends. We love this beach...it reminds us of Waikiki Beach for some reason...only there is a Chinese temple off in the distance. It has been really hot, so this was the best place to be. We have a Cold Stone creamery near our home (lucky for us)--so Colin got his annual ice cream cake, too! Good day.

We took our family pictures at the Martyrs Shrine in Taipei...not too far from our home. Thanks to some kind friends who helped us! After the photo session we left immediately for the beach--to cool off...
