Happy New Year?

Ooops! I haven't posted in a while! Sorry, just nothing much going on lately. (excluding the holidays, when i was busy^^)

Well, a very belated Merry Christmas and happy new year!!

What have i been up to? NOTHING!! Shopping a ton, shopping even more, and eating a lot! Also drinking too much coffee :(
Now my stomache doesn't feel well at all.

Oh but for Christmas, there was 1 big deal each day of my holidays, and maybe 2. But soooo enjoyable! heh heh

Some people say i've been having too much hotpot, but I beg to differ! I think i really need more!!! It's true when it's cold, you want to eat something warm and the chinese tradition would be to have hotpot in the freezing cold, no? :)
Excellent! I guess i just convinced myself to have a huge family hotpot at home for my bday! hee

i'm just blabbing on but i haven't wrote anything in a long time. Lately, i bought i atonnnn of coffee beans and really have been drinking way too much. Anyone want a coffee? I'll even deliver!! I like making it but i don't think i can consume that much. oh well, gotta do my work now.

Finally finished my drama, One Litre of Tears

Took me 3 months of putting it on hold but i finally decided to watch the last episode (Episode 11 of 11)

I watched episode 10 a few months ago but it was so sad that i really couldn't continue. I guess after those months, the storyline and the memories subsided and i could watch the last (inevitable) episode without ......grabbing the box of tissues :x

Actually, when 'it' happened, it was kind of abrupt and there was no threatrical dramatic lead to the end of her journey. In a way, this is a good because afterall, it is her real life biography and what she went through. Also this way, the fans of the show wouldn't be so blown away and can't get of their sadness. :|

Verdict: Show is great!! but wayyyy too sad.

A word about NiMH

You do NOT need to cycle though the entire charge before recharging it again.

Okay, the first time you need to charge it all the way for about 12-24 hours. But after that, DO NOT LET IT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH like your ancient cell phones.

In fact, it will only shorten the lifespan of your battery!! The battery is rated at so-and-so many cycles of charge in its entire life. The more entire FULL cycles of charge you use, the more it harms the battery!!

Now that THAT's off my chest, i've seen some horrible things these past few days.

My dad got a new Laptop a few days ago and he's been draining the power all the way through ...twice!! He literally told me that "the screen went blank twice" @__@ !!!

My boss also insists on using the battery power even though the cord is right beside him already plugged in! But weird thing is, he doesn't like using the battery(as in, he pulls it right out) when he's plugged in. So that brings up the question, how does he charge the battery?? :x Anywho, i was fixing his din loh and ...without the battery, it keeps on wobbling side to side because the battery's "foot" is missing!!! eeee!!!!!!!
Have you ever tried using your laptop without the battery??!?!?! ..DON"T!!! it makes your entire world upside down!!!!!!!!!!

err..o..k.
back to work. after using these newer laptops, it makes me want to buy a new one too :(

oh great! Summer is over

So, it's raining, it's a little cold and ofcourse, school is back on!!!

It doesn't affect us anymore, does it? DOES IT?
Ofcourse it does!!!

Those stupid kids now have to go back to school !!! Their moms have to drive them to school in morning, or worse, the older ones have to drive themselves to their university/colleges plugging up our bridges!!!!

I don't complain about bridges since i don't go that far, but they plug up the roads!! ARGHH!! Who taught them to drive so slow????????????

ON another note, i think i'm getting old. I have to sleep so much these days. I think someone has infected me with old-old disease. >_< *points at pooh*
