Quiet Time

Finally a nice quiet week! I don’t have really anything to report. The babies are cute as ever.

Rilyn is still loving school. Casen is also loving school and starting to like soccer a little more.

Everything is wonderful!

Day Out With Thomas

This week we got to do something really fun. We got to go see THOMAS!! Can you guess who was in heaven? This is Rilyn’s second time getting to do Day out with Thomas and she spent the 2 hour drive trying to prep Casen for it. She is such a little mommy. She is too funny. We got there just in time to jump on the train for our ride.

Casen sat there staring out the window for the entire ride. I had to beg him to look at the camera for pictures. We did every activity they had out for us. We played in the train tent.

We got Thomas tattoos.

We saw Sir Topham hat.

We took a picture with Thomas.

We listened to a Thomas book and watched a Thomas movie. We did an obstacle course.

We had a VERY full day. And then we jumped back in the car and drove 2 hours home. Oh and did I mention that I did all of this without Cody! (he was busy studying for boards · very important) Me and 4 kids! It was crazy!

Happy Birthday to Mommy

This week started off with us telling Aunt Kelly goodbye (come see us again soon!) and with the new swing set getting finished!

The kids were so excited! This week it was my turn to teach preschool. We worked on the letter B.

The boys favorite part was playing on the “playground” in the backyard. Since our old swingset it still back there too they couldn’t decide which one to play with. For my birthday the kids made me a birthday cake.

It was beautiful. We all enjoyed eating it, especially the babies!

Casen started a little football class with his friend Miles.

They kept each other busy running around in circles. Not sure they actually listened to the coach but they had fun and that’s all that matters. Casen also started soccer this week. He was a little nervous but had fun chasing the ball at the end.

We went to the park with our friends and made a quick trip to Costco. The boys got to try sitting the the shopping cart like big boys.

They liked it. Saturday the weather was awesome so we spent some time playing outside.

The babies love watching their big brother and sister play.  

INSANE

Wow! This week has been insane! Casen started preschool on Tuesday and LOVED it!

We’re doing a mom exchange preschool (so every week a different mom teaches) with 3 other little boys. He had so much fun and was so excited to go. Rilyn started dance on Wednesday.

She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time. Thursday I found Casen sleeping inside the couch after he got home from preschool.

I guess school is hard work. The babies wanted to prove they were smarties too and I caught them trying to work the iPad.

Thursday night our special visitor flew in, Aunt Kelly! Rilyn got to leave school early on Friday so she could not worry about missing anything. We went to costco and somehow came home with a GIANT panda!

We also went to the apple orchard at pick more apples and go on a tractor ride.

Then we came home and baked another pie. Yum! Saturday our new swing set started being built.

Thanks grandma and grandpa! We went on an adventure to try out a maid rite sandwich. Kelly heard that Iowa was famous for them so we had to try one. It was ok. Its basically a hamburger but the meat is loose instead of packed like a patty. On the plus side there were a bunch of old cars in the parking lot and we found one that kinda looked like Mater.

Oh and did I mention that my family paraded me through the neighborhood in a crown to go get cupcakes from JJs (best cupcakes ever) for my birthday.
Yeah it was a blast!
