BGC #46 - Love is in the Air

Good morning everyone!!

 I hope you each had a wonderful Valentines Day!!

 Of course we didn't want the love to end on the 14th so we are spreading our love all the way to the end of February! 

However, I am a little over the explosion of bright pink and red! 

BGC#46 - Challenge (Love is in the Air)

16th to 28th Feb 2014

Challenge specification :
1. We want to see the word "Love" but NO RED or PINK. 
2. You are free to create any project . Can be card, layout,or 3d gift.
3. Deadline to submit is - 28th feb 2014 untill 11:55 pm  IST

Here is the layout I made for this challenge....but......ever have one that works in theory but just doesnt work when you put it to paper???? Well that's kinda how this one turned out for me!! However, with that being said, I am putting it out there anyway!  

Then I thought I would go with this project...An old frame that was broken but that I loved. ...but next to those brown flowers those rust ones look red....and that's a no go for this challenge....I promise in person they are rusty/brown color....

I hope you can inspire me this go round!!  Although I have lots of love for that man and those babies in the photos I did't hit a home run this time!! I really cant wait to see what you come up with this. Don't forget to check back for my fellow DT friends to post their inspiration in days to come.

Hello bloggers,

We're getting closer to Valentine's Day and also towards the end of our Feb first half Challenge !!

To inspire you a little,I am here with a Super-Sweet post to tempt you !

So here's the recipe you have to follow

SWEET TOOTH CHALLENGE + A PALETTE

~In short , you  need to prepare a CARD that should contain some form of SWEET FOOD item on it and you must use at least 3 colors from the color palette given below. 

Last date to submit your cards will be 15th feb 2014 , by 11:55 PM IST.

So here is my creation:

 Here is the full card: I made the creamy topping with 3D white acrylic liner and mod poge dimensional magic and added few customized cherries (painted pearls :D !!)
Finally assembled the paper cut-outs and this is what I ended up making !

So with the previous super awesome inspirations of all the other DTs ,plus this one (if it has inspired you a little ^_^ !!),and still you are waiting for some really hard pushes to make u create something really "Sweet !!", lemme say this ...

Hopefully everyone has a special someone to whom they want to say "I love you". Whether it's a significant other, or close friend or family member, a fun way to let someone know how much you care is to make a unique card or gift just for them,and with our current challenge being so apt to the occasion,I don't see any reason for you not participating in it.So do hop in the fun !

Cake Shop!

Hi everyone! Here is a card that I made for the very latest and interesting challenge. The requirement was to create a card with something sweet (cake, candy,  chocolate etc) on it using at least three colors from the following palette:

Well here is my take on the challenge to satisfy the sweet tooth.

I love cupcakes and especially cake shops. So I chose to use cupcakes and show them in a cake shop window. The color scheme that I selected is kraft, pink, green and yellow.

I have cut the cupcakes, window and awning on my cameo. The cupcakes are colored and glued on a white embossed paper. There is also acetate on the window. The wall is made by stamping and embossing brick stamp. Finally I glued small punched flowers outside the window.

Sweet Tooth!!

Good morning all!!

I hope everyone is starting out a crafty weekend and you will all join us for our challenge!!

I have a simple little card for ya....I am in awe once again of my DT sisters and the amazing work they do!!

I'm sure you know by now but just in case:

Our challenge was to use "something sweet" and at least 3 colors from the gorgeous palette below!

I love this color combo and use it often!!

I used the sand, blue, and pink.

Here is my "sweet" little card!

 I used my silhouette to cut the card elements and cupcake!  I added pop dots and the burlap paper for some added texture!  And of course I had to add a bit of sparkle so I put the glitter stickles on the card and cupcake.
