Post Gathering.

Hmmm.

Labour day gathering, a success.
I' m having serious doubt about that now.

I'm sure we all had fun, tick yes at the checklist.
I'm definitely sure I HAD fun, tick yes at the checklist.

But I won't deny or hide the fact that I was rather pissed off at certain stuff.
In fact, if any of you missed out on my being pissed off, be grateful you didn't witness it head on.

One, people walking out of a restaurant after stepping in, sitting down.

I know that those who did walk out quipped price and budget as the reason why they left. But really, Xinli had so frequently and kindly listed out the various prices we'd be spending for a meal WAAAAAY before the actual class gathering. So I don't really see how there can be people who leave citing COSTS as a reason.

Leaving a restaurant after sitting there is just plain rude.
And, yes it does reflect upon what kinda of person you are.
Not to mention, it's very embarrassing.

There is a reason why we have a class blog.
To discuss how, where and what we want our gatherings to be like.
If you are STRONGLY against or unable to cede to what was suggested, you are entitled to vetoing the whole thing altogether, or suggest something better then.

Also, menus of a restaurant are placed OUTSIDE a restaurant for a reason too.
It is to let the public judge for themselves whether can they and do they want to pay for what's available in the restaurant or not.

All the time we were standing outside Billy Bomber's, nobody checked for themselves whether can they pay up or not.

TWO,people not responding to questions as to "WHO WANTS TO EAT DESSERT AT SPAGGEDIES??" from krystelle, then repeating the whole step in, don't eat saga.

Poor Krystelle shouted MANY MANY MANY times "WHO WANTED TO EAT?" while we were at Paragon, but nope, the majority were too preoccupied taking pictures. 1,2,3,CHEESE!

Lastly, not knowing what to do after dinner.

Frankly, I think this is only cos' we met and had dinner too early.
See ah, if we had set the meeting time at say, 6.
We'd start eating around 7:00, and finish only round 10:00 pm, just in time for everyone to go home since it's too late to do anything already.

Starting to eat around 5 and finishing around 8 only leaves us 2 hours of what I like to call, 'hanging time' thinking of what to do since its WAY too early for most of us to go home.

Without regard to the above, yes the gathering was quite a success 24 out of 36 making it and the special appearance of Miss Lee.
Yup yup, not bad at all.

I think.
