sighhhhss.. last night, i was able to let off some steam.. to just let go of wats been bothering me inside, and to just cry my feelings out... no, i havent been alright, emotionally, although i may hide it well.. there are so many regrets, so many things i want to do but cant, feelings of loneliness and being left out.. sighh.. oh well.. thanks, Denice, for listening out and bearing with me.. wish i was there with you.. mayb someday.. as for now, just gotta suck it up and slap a smile on my face..

hello everyone! it's been a busy week at uni, but a good week overall.. a shout-out to stephen and lorene: CONGRATS ON FINALLY TIEING THE KNOT!!! i'm sure ur wedding day was UBER-memorable, filled with blessings and HUGE smiles.. :D so happy for u guys! *hugs*
anyways, i had a WONDERFUL weekend.. went for a swim on friday in my apartment and then for ocf (homecell) where we ate and played fun fun fun games! hehe.. we left arnd 12-ish and i went back to tracy's place and slept over.. oh dear, i had 5 MacNuggets late at night tho.. *guilty as charged* (note to self: no more late night meals!!!) so the next day, i went back and asked fran to come over and accompany me to swim, and we spent an hour swimming, then went into the oh-so-comfortable hot tub.. hehe.. went out for dinner after that, and then went back to fran's place to BAKE! we made a chocolate caramel tart! yummmm!!
i keep forgetting to take a pic of the whole process.. but i did take a few.. :p NOW DROOL WITH ENVY!!

OH! and i forgot to mention.. i got 2 high distinctions and 2 other distinctions in my exam!! :D in other words, STRAIGHT A's BABEHHH~~~~!!!

i was expecting D's.. so u can imagine the shock i got when i saw the results.. haha..
i'm happy now
ok ok it's time to update.. sorry for the long break! was trying to enjoy the last of my holiday.. :p well uni started about a week ago and it's already so tiring! all-in-all i think i have about 23 hrs of classes PER WEEK!! sigh..
the holidays were great and did quite a few things.. for starters, we rented a car for 3 days and went to Mount Buller for snowboarding!! unfortunately, the weather was HORRENDOUS as it was very foggy and the wind was VERY strong.. as it was my first time, i had a hard time just trying to get on my feet with the board attached to my feet... spent almost an hour just trying to get down the hill.. most of it spent on trying to get up.. haha.. so for my second time going up, i decided to join the free lessons that they have over there.. there were 2 instructors (both guys *squeal* hahahahaha) and i had such a fun time learning how to snowboard.. and i think i got the hang of it as well! and i say 'think' because i never got to go up for a third time.. by the time i was done with the lessons, it was too windy and they had to close down the ski lifts.. anyways, both instructors were really cute.. haha.. the only thing that was embarrassing was that they had to watch me fall and slip.. -_-" but oh well!! one of the instructors (whose name is Daniel) was really really nice and helped me a lot.. especially when i'm trying to get up.. hehehe.. and he told me once that it was just like dancing! lol.. you'd have to try it out for urself to see wat he means by that.. i dont have that many pics coz i couldnt take out my cam as it would've gotten wet from the snow... and my gloves were too thick.. :p
my ears were freezing coz i didnt bring anything to cover them up.. but luckily, yee ting (bro's friend who came over and stayed with us) had a beanie that he borrowed from dan and wasnt using, so i took it and used it..
we also drove on the Great Ocean Road, but we were pressed for time as we needed to give the car back.. we took about 4 hrs just to get there, and only spent about half an hour on the site.. hahaha.. what a shame, but atleast we got to see some very beautiful sights..
beautiful rite? it was very windy and cold too.. but all the while worth it.. :p
we went to many parks and all.. they have wild parrots flying about in the city! very cute..
cute, yes? hehe..
oh and when my mum left, i felt so lost coz i didnt have anyone to go to the parks or out with.. so sad rite? well, she'd been living with me for abt 2 months, not to mention, she stayed in my room as well, so i got really used to her company.. but i managed to get myself distracted.. i finally finished the Twilight series.. but i must say, i didnt really enjoy the story.. it was all a bit weird.. not a very satisfying read.. but i am looking forward to the next movie.. u know y? coz JACOB GOT HOT!!!!! hahaha.. no i'm not an edward fan (thank God) but i am of jacob!! wootz.. hahah..
during the holiday, i also managed to go clubbing!! it was my first time too.. went with my bro, yee ting, fran and sandy.. didnt drink much but i enjoyed it.. was on my feet for 4-5 hours straight! u can imagine how sore my feet were at the end of the night/morning.. me wearing heels and all.. :p
oh oh and last week, i went to fran's place and we baked egg tarts!! and they turned out nice!! haha..
ok so they dont look that great.. we didnt know how to shape the pastry and fit into the cups.. but i got the gist of it now.. :D
i wanna bake more..
hate thinking of wat to cook every nite..

oh and did i mention, my mum got a new puppy? haha.. his name is jack, coz he looks like a jack russel.. :p
and yes, i'm fatter now..

hi guys! sorry for not updating.. see, i had exams (unlike some of u back home who are enjoying urselves.. :p ) and i couldnt be bothered to blog during the exam period coz there really isnt anything to blog about.. while i was stuck at home (or the library) my mum and bro were out exploring wat melbourne has to offer.. and i felt so left out.. boo... but now that exams are over (YEAY!!!) i get to follow my mum everywhere and go further than the city.. melbourne's such a beautiful place.. and the weather here is sooo nice... loving winter here...
on another note, this month is a bad month.. i keep hearing of ppl passing away.. a close relative of mine just lost his battle with cancer.. so sad.. and i cant believe michael jackson died!!!!! that's sooooo sad!!! i'm such a big fan of his songs.. i seriously think he's a misunderstood character and he didnt deserve all the scrutiny from the media... poor guy.. and now he's gone.. so sad...
anyways, i might be going for snowboarding/skiing in two days time!! wooooo... so fun... we're gonna rent a car and then we'll drive to the place.. i cant wait! haha..
one more week till my mum leaves.. it's bittersweet, but oh well... no one to pick up after me, cook meals and clean the apartment for me anymore.. boohooo.. gotta do all that myself (since bro doesn't do the cleaning)...

look at what mum bought for me today!! woootzzzz... i could have gotten it a few weeks earlier, but it's always such a rush when church ends and everyone's trying to get out that it's virtually impossible to go and get it.. but today, i went to the later service, and since it wasnt crowded, i took the opportunity to get it! but the funny thing is, i kind of know all the songs in the album already! that's a first for me! since they sing the songs in church, i got to know the songs even before the album was released! how cool is that!! i'm still excited tho.. love the songs.. and i'm telling you, it sounds sooooooooooo good live!! haha.. come to melbourne and see for yourself!! :p

EXAMS ARE COMING UP!!!! *EEEEEEEKKKSSSSSSSSS* i'm back to my lazy self, i cant seem to bring myself to study!!!! it's like last year all over again.. sigh.. i feel like i've done a year's worth of work crammed into just 3 months.. every week, we finish one CHAPTER.... I'M NOT USED TO IT!!!! which is also another reason why i cant bring myself to study.. hehe.. not used to doing exams in the middle of the year... i wanna be back home with my friends...
on another note, MAMA's HERE! she came a few weeks ago, early may i think.. and she'll be here till the exams are over... wait, i've mentioned this already rite? haha just goes to show how seldom i blog.. cant remember wat i posted in my last blog.. we've been walking around the city.. mum likes the walks..

not so 'unknown' after all!!! hmmm, actually, when asked, ppl still dunno where Brunei is, so i take that back.. apparently, the first person from Brunei to come to melbourne was a malay dude from KB.. coolnessssssssss
oh oh and last friday was my first time singing in the worship team in OCF!! absolutely loved it.. felt like i was back home.. was a bit weird at first coz i didnt know anyone and, well, awkward.. but it all just comes down to worship.. and it was AWESOME!! hehe.. and the ppl there are so dedicated; they have to transport ALL the equipment to and from someone's hse to melbourne uni where we have the meetings.. can u imagine setting up and packing away the drum set and sound equipment EVERY WEEK??? committed man... that's all i can say.. after that, we went to find dinner, and everyone decided on KFC! that was my first time eating in a fast food restaurant since i came here.. TRUE STORY!!!

tonight, i'll be going to mel uni for 'coffee ministry'.. the ppl here are very serious about reaching out, and this is one of the ways that they've come up with.. since it's the exam period, many students go to the library to study, and we'll be there handing out free coffee/tea/milo/any other hot drink, and there'll be little notes on the cups either quoting bible verses or just simple notes of blessing.. and if ppl stay to chat, that's our chance of reaching out.. so yea, even tho i'm not from the uni, i thought it'll be a good idea to get involved.. Daphne will be there tonight as well.. if i dont forget to take out my cam to take pics, then i'll post it up.. hehe.. that's it for now! i've been going to the gym lately coz i'm DESPERATE to lose the weight i've put on since i've been here.. *food is the enemy* muahahahhahahaa
OH, and sharon's coming over from brisbane! altho it'll be during the exam period, i'll still go out to meet her.. so yea.. yeay! another familiar face around.. my only shopping partner at the moment is my mum.. -_-" so sad.. DENICE!! I NEED U HERE!!! hehehhehe
