Change

Hi there!
I would like to first apologize that it's been a month since I've blogged. Sometimes life gets in the way...and often that's a good thing! :)
In the past couple of months my husband has separated from the Air Force, we've moved from Washington to Wisconsin, and we're living closer to family than we ever have before.
It's been a bumpy ride... I'm putting that nicely...but more than that it's been a time of holding on to God's hand as he walks us through some storms. What holds us together is God's promise that He will complete this work that He has begun. In Him we place our hope.
Anywho...I just wanted to leave a little note here to let you know what is up. I'm not sure when I will have some free time to make something beautiful, but believe it or not, when I started this blog..I started it to write for me. Not for flaunting cards and projects. :)
It's true! Ha!
I'll leave you with a pic of my hubby and 3 of my babies on his last day of military life.
"Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD."
-Psalm 31:24
Love,

Thanks for sharing this photo. The raw emotion in it is touching. I'm sure there were lots of factors, but for me seeing your husband with his kids makes me SO glad he's not leaving again! Bless you guys!

I saw the picture in Google Reader and my heart dropped. I thought he was deploying. *sigh of relief*

Wow, Wisconsin? Good for you guys. I'm so bad about keeping up on FB so I'm glad you posted this here.

Love & miss you, my friend!

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, Bev.
I was in the same situation about 2 and half years ago when my DH was separated from Air Force. So far, so good.
No more moving and living close to family are wonderful.

Dear Bev
hubby's plant closed leaving him without a job but more importantly without the Christian fellwoship he had been blessed with for over 10 years. sitting on the back step he saw some homing pigeons circling. The Lord showed him that when pigeons are taken away...the fly straight up, then circle to get their bearings, once they find their direction they fly home. The Lord showed DH that he was in a time of circling and that the Lord was there to show him the way. That was 23 years ago and God has blessed us with a world wide ministry sharing the Gospel with pastors in developing countries. It gets sweeter and sweeter each day
blessings as you both find your way
