Worth the Wait

This is my gluebook page for today. I titled it Worth the wait for 2 reasons.
1. I had finished the grid background a few days ago and knew it needed an embellishment...but had to wait...for the right one. I used Tim's rusted grunge technique on the swirl and I think it was perfect for the page.
2. Also, isn't it worth the wait....when your dream comes true, your love comes alive and your laugh happens? I think so.

Have a great weekend.

Scrapfest 2010 Gluebook pages

I was able to use my badge as a holder for "stuff" to keep from my adventure to Scrapbook Fest 2010 in Minnesota. I also used a brown paper bag to store keepsakes from the weekend. It was a great girlfriend getaway to go to Scrapfest.

Clean and simple .....

When I stamp cards, I usually go the route of clean and simple. These are a few cards I made for the Splitcoaststampers' Gallery.

Heureux Anniversaire

We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at a restaurant called cite in Chicago. What a fabulous evening it was!

I tried drying the rose in the microwave...got it a little scorched but adding glimmer mist helped out.

Sweet

I decided to make a gluebook page today. My friend, Stevie, made the ribbon flower that I used on this page.
It is HOT here. Just trying to stay cool.

Thinking of Sue.......

I had time to make a glue page this week. It has numbers and the color yellow.
It reminds me of 2 things my friend, Sue, likes: numbers and yellow.
It is almost time for CHA. I can't wait!
