Creative Inspirations Celebrate

Whoops sorry I'm late with this folks, just wasted the whole day sleeping, clearly more ill than I thought I was!
Hey everyone! I do hope everyone is ok out there, especially those in the US that have been caught up in this terrible hurricane, safe hugs to you all!

Today I have a card to share with you for the new challenge over at Creative Inspirations which is "Celebrate"

We are lucky enough to be sponsored by the fab Paper Shelter who have given the DT some stunning images to play with this week.

I have used Teresa Collins papers for my card again with lace and flowers from WOC (there a few Kort & Godt flowers in there too). My butterfly is from the fab little snippets and my sentiment is Portobello rd.

My cute image has been coloured with Prisma pencils. I figured I needed something a bit bright and cheery with this cold weather about and of course with all the looming xmas cards I need to be continuing to make!

Creative Inspirations DT call

Hello!

We are looking for 4 NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS to join the creative Inspirations team!

The DT Call will be open until MIDNIGHT 24th NOVEMBER and shall remain at the top of the blog until then. The new DT members will be contacted at the start of December and will be starting full-time for the first challenge of 2013! Along with this we shall be having a makeover to welcome 2013 properly along with a goodies giveaway! 

Speaking of which Natalie is  celebrating the DT Call with a little giveaway of her own over on her personal blog! To be in with a chance of winning them simply click the photo to go to her blog, this will be open until the DT Call ends!

New challenge at a gem of a challenge

Saturated Canary and SFTW

Late again! I sometimes see myself as that white rabbit running around with a pocket watch in Alice in wonderland, forever late and worrying about it lol!

I'm combining DT work again with my card for the Saturated Canary challenge which started yesterday which is to make shaped cards, nothing square! This is out of the box for me lol and then there is a new challenge over at SFTW today which is Anything goes so I figured it was versatile enough for that!

I have made a stepper card, its is an elegant step card shape from which craft which I won on a blog hop a while back, I actually quite like it though I will prob be back to square next time! I used spotty papers from Teresa Collins and Papermania along with Magnolia flourish and foliage dies, Tim Holtz metal frame, prima tile, Kays butterflies and a stack of flowers from WOC. Of course I went super crazy with all my picket fence crackle paint!

My stunning image is the freebie Krista has had on her blog she is so pretty! I have coloured her with prisma pencils and set her in a a nesties frame.

Divas by Design Use some Orange

Ooo look at me and my 2 posts in one day lol!

Over at Divas by Design we have a new challenge for you today and we are sponsored by the lovely Stamp n Doodle. Our challenge is to use ORANGE on your creations.

I had a commissioned card to make for a dreaded male birthday lol so this is what I did.

I have used SU papers on my card with an old tag from a pair of jeans (I have tonnes of these stuffed in my stash for this sort of thing!) I have also used Tim Holtz film tape. a chipboard MIC corner and lace and flowers from WOC (the flowers are new in and I got them in ALL the colours!)

My image is from Digistamp boutique, my customer wanted a BBQ image for her dads card and she settled on this one! I have coloured him with prisma pencils and edged in vintage photo ink. I have created a computer sentiment for a personalised touch.

Creative Inspirations Happy Halloween

Hi friends, hows things?! It's half term holidays here so I have all 3 kiddies at home and with hubby trying to sleep as he is on nights this isn't always a good combination! I am already fed up with telling everyone to sshhh!

I also have some extra hours at work at the end of the week, which by that time I will probably be ready for the break from the house!

There is a new challenge over at Creative Inspirations today and we are lucky to be sponsored by the brilliant Meljens, who have provided the DT with the images we have used for our theme HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

I have used Pink Paislee papers for my card, along with some Jute and flowers from Wild Orchids (just got another delivery thanks to my wonderful gift voucher from Jacques), the witch brew tag is stamped with Waltzingmouse, the butterfly is Kays Kreative Korner and the foam spiderweb and halloween stickers are from my stash.

My sweet image from Meljens has been coloured with prisma pencils and inked around the edges in dusty concord ink.

A Gem of a Challenge Flowers

Hi again everyone! It's reminder time again for the current challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and we have the fab theme of Flowers this time!

This shouldn't be a hard challenge for me but true to form I always like to make things difficult for myself! I put so much on this card that I then had trouble fitting the flowers in lol!

So here is my festive creation for today...

I have used Teresa Collins papers again, although I think I should be banned from using pretty papers as you can't even see them under all the rest of the stuff I have put on the card!
I have used a Holtzy on the edge snowflake die, a mariannes tree die, flowers, jute (yes there is jute there somewhere!) and wooden reindeer from Wild orchids. My ribbon was from a lady my mum knows who collected her ribbons just for me! The brad is also Teresa Collins.

My sweet image is Pink Gem Designs as is the fabulous Santa post card digi. I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and have used forest moss DI around my edges and on my tree die cuts, I have also added some glitter snow on the trees and some picket fence paint to the flowers and holly leaves.

Creative Inspirations CASE it

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am busy busy as always and today sees my eldest going off to her first halloween party at high school! I will endevour to post a piccie of her in her outfit later!

There is a new challenge today over at Creative Inspirations and it's CASE it time again with a fab card from Patricia over there for you to CASE.

We are of course sponsored by the fab Simon Says stamp and here is my card using the same LO as Patricia's card....

I have used these fab papers from Teresa Collins (tell your story) love her papers! along with flowers from WOC, bling flourishes from Prima and butterfly from Kays.

My wonderful image is one of the new Saturated Canary digis called Violet vintage isn't she lush?! I have coloured her with prisma pencils and have used some stempelglede stamps around the edge.

I'm hoping I can get back on later to check out some challenges for this!

Saturated Canary photo inspiration

Happy Thursday folks!

Yes its fast approaching the end of the week and I'm at work for the next 3 days so no rest for me!

I am still warding off my germs, as yet they haven't taken me over and I refuse to succumb without a fight lol!

It's challenge time again at Saturated Canary and we have a super photo for your inspiration with some rich autumnal colours..

So here is what I created this time (the photo seems dark which represents the glorious dim weather we are having and even photo scape couldn't brighten it that much!)

I have to say I struggled a bit with the colours, not my general sort of thing but it all sort of came together in the end! My papers are MME, lace BunnyZoes, rose trim and flowers WOC with some flowers from Kort & Godt. My ribbon has been hand tie dyed and my butterfly is from Kays again.

My sweet saturated Canary image Roger that has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have edged all my papers and image with black acrylic paint for a distressed effect.

CI and Divas Anything goes

Hello again, yes still late!

Have to say I'm still not feeling great but I'm loading up on pain killers and vitamin C so hopefully I can kick out these germs soon enough!

Over at Creative Inspirations and Divas by Design today we have new challenges and they are both the best type of challenge

ANYTHING GOES

At Divas we are sponsored by Dis Digis and at CI we are sponsored by Stamp fairy whose fab image I have used and I guess I must be ill as I have made a circular card and wasn't even required to! Anyone who knows my cards, knows I'm a square addict lol!

I have used Basic Grey Eskimo kisses paper along with a swirl die from Magnolia and a foliage die from Mariannes. My lace and flowers are WOC along with sentiment from Waltzingmouse.

My sweet image is from Stamp fairy coloured with prisma pencils. I have used some Vintage photo DI for edging and for the postage mark in the corner. I have machine stitched all my edges and gone crazy with Picket fence crackle paint again (gotta love it!)
