Saturated Canary Thinking of you DT card

Hi friends! Sorry I'm a bit late with this one today! It's challenge time at Saturated Canary again and this time our theme is Thinking of you. I have used one of these gorgeous new images from Krista, the super fab Rapunzel available HERE.

I have used papers from Black Market Paper Society for my card along with cheesecloth and pearls from stash. Lace and flowers from WOC and butterfly from little snippets. My on the edge butterfly die is from Tim Holtz with my sentiment coming from SU.

I have used prisma pencils to colour my image and have used stempelglede garden stamps in worn lipstick DI around the edge. I have used some white crackle paint on my metal corner from E crafts and n some of my flower edges.

This is our new Siberian Husky puppy, she is only 2 and half wks old at the moment so won't be coming home to us until the end of April! Sooooo cute!

Creative inspirations sketch challenge

Howdy doody folks! Well it's fabulously bright and sunny in the UK and aren't we loving it?! This does mean, however, that I am saying hello to all my allergies and hayfever for another 6 months, joy!

I am determined to get a bit more crafty this wk and to pop by and leave some comments for you all!

Our challenge this wk at Creative inspirations is a stunning sketch and we are sponsored by the fab Crimson Cloud! I have made my first Easter card! Shocking, isn't it?! I really should have made more than 1 by now!

I have used MME miss caroline papers again, such yummy spring colours and have broken out one of those neglected maggies! Actually this isn't so much as neglected as was bought 2nd hand from a friend on FB. I have always liked this image though! I do have a tonne of beautiful maggies that need to see the light of day more often though!

My beautiful flowers are WOC along with ribbon and pearls from stash and a sentiment from Hanglar.

My darling image has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have inked around the edges in tattered rose. I have also machine stitched all my edges, although some of it leaves a lot to be desired lol!

Kenny K Anime release and fun & games challenge

Morning folks! It's challenge time again over at Kenny K Krafty Girlz along with a stunning new release of stamps! Our challenge is fun and games and the new release are the fun anime kids from the Kenny K store.

Here is my card using Anime soccer...

I have been itching to use my portobello rd papers and stamps and this seemed like the perfect image for them! I have also added some twine and red snaps from stash. My cute sentiment stamp is also portbello rd and my fabulous wooden tag is from Prima (loving these!)

My super cute image has been coloured with prisma pencils and mounted on Kraft card.

Saturated Canary new release

Hi there everyone! Firstly I just want to let you know that there is a new challenge over at SFTW today and it's a super easy one anything goes! We have the fabulous stamp fairy sponsoring too, my apologies to the DT gals that I haven't sorted out a project yet, I have been busy job hunting with little time for playing.

Anyone going to see the new movie release the hunger games? Well this digi is part of the stunning new release from Krista at Saturated Canary and she is called gametime....

Isn't she fab?! I have teamed her with these stunning Alla prima papers for a green and natural look. I have used twine, buttons and pearls from stash along with flowers from WOC and prima, play ticket from Tim Holtz and sentiment from papertrey ink.

I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and have inked around the edge in vintage photo ink.

Divas by design distressing and CI anything goes and a sneaky peek!

Hey there fabulous people! I hope you are all doing ok out there! I have been sneakily combining DT work again and have even thrown in a sneaky peek for you!

Over at Creative Inspirations this wk we have the all time favourite theme of Anything goes and are sponsored by the fab Digital delights! Over at Divas by Design this wk we have the challenge of distressing sponsored by the wonderful Pink Gem designs! So I have combined them both with a sneaky peek of this stunning new Saturated Canary digi which will be released tomorrow!!!

I have used papers from fancy pants beach babe pad and have gone a bit crazy with the picket fence distress crackle paint all around the edges! I have used an X cut border punch that I haven't broken out in a while along with some fab cheesecloth from stash, pearls from Kort & Godt, flowers from WOC, butterfly from little snippets and sentiment from Papertrey ink.

I adore this image she is so one of my total faves from the new release! Her name is lala and she will be in the store tomorrow! I have coloured her with prisma pencils.

I know I've been a bit absent of late because I was working the 2 jobs well things have changed a bit for me now. The new job didn't work out for me at all and I have my final weekend with my old job this weekend. Hence I am now one of the many unemployed! I know I will find something else soon enough but for the time being there will be no crafty spending for me, I guess it's time to use up that stash!

I have felt very up and down over the last few wks because of all the upheaval and now I just need some time to recouperate and to spend with my family. I'm sorry if I've not been so great with commenting and coming by your blogs, I'm going to have lunch with a friend tomorrow and start trying to find a new me again!

A Gem of a challenge DT sketch time!

Hey folks how are you all on this wonderful weekend?

We have a new challenge for you over at A Gem of a Challenge this time and it's a fab sketch again, this time chosen by the lovely Jackie!

Do pop over to check out the sketch , here is my take on it...

I have used yummy papers from MME Miss Caroline, such pretty colours! And have used this super fab image, Sprinkles with attitude from Pink Gem Designs. My ribbon and gems are from stash, button has been embossed (it's a bit messy as the first lot of embossing came off when it turned over whilst still wet so it's all lumpy and bumpy now lol) My flowers are WOC with my butterfly coming from little snippets. I have used my MS doily border punch and my sentiment is Papertrey ink.

My sweet image has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have glamour dusted her wings. I have also added some liquid pearls in pink around her and have machine stitched all the edges.

Saturated Canary DT Card use Twine

I'm back again!!!!!  I lied in my scheduled post this morning, I'm actually not required to work today (phew!) a minutes respite in a crazy week it seems!

Yes it's challenge time again over at the fabulous Saturated Canary challenge blog and we have the challenge of using Twine on your creations (along with a fab SC or simply sassy image) and I've gone all colourful again lol!

I need some zingy colours in my life right now so I have chosen to use these fab Bo bunny papers which I have had for a while now. My flowers and lace are from WOC, my ribbon, pearls and button are from stash. My bakers twine I got from Sarah's and my sentiment is waltzingmouse.

My sentiment and image lightly contradict each other as my sentiment is a cheery goodbye but my image looks sad to leave, as this is my goodbye card to all my friends at my old job it really sums up my feelings about leaving!

My wonderful image is the stunning "sorry" from saturated canary and she has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have machine stitched all my edges and lightly inked in tea dye around the image edge.

I again apologise for my lack of blog hopping! Last night saw my first proper shift at my new job and I am there again this morning so all this is scheduled and hopefully posted!

Well, over at Papercrafting Journey today sees the beginning of a new challenge "pastels" and they are sponsored by the fabulous Kenny K. Being part of the Kenny K DT, I was able to have a GDT spot for this challenge with the PJ team so thanks for having me over folks!

I have used Prima papers here in shades of pale green, pink and cream for my pastels. My cream ruffled ribbon is also prima with my flowers coming from WOC, my pearl flourish from Sarah's, my cheesecloth and chiffon ribbon from stash and my pearled brads from MME a gift from my lovely friend Bonnie (thank you!)

My gorgeous Kenny K image is Queens cutie and she has been coloured with prisma pencils.

I'm sorry I'm not more chatty in my posts lol! I'm just feeling a bit tired at the moment and trying to organise my life! I have found it quite hard to be leaving a job I love and have done for so long, even though I am very excited about the new venture.

Creative inspirations something for mum

Good morning folks! I am sorry for not being about more and not getting to your blogs. I am currently working 2 jobs (have started one whilst still working notice with the other) so I am working around 6-7 days a week. It will settle down in a couple of weeks and then I will be back to normal (hopefully!)

On to the new challenge over at Creative inspirations which this week is "something for mum" what with mothers day in the UK being this sunday. We are sponsored by the brilliant Stamp fairy who have given us some super cute image to use! 

I have used papers from Prima again, they just suited my colour scheme perfectly, especially with the kraft mounting. My heart is a memory box die cut (stunning!!!) available at Dies to die for, with my flowers coming from WOC, my ribbon and pearls from stash, my bees from the fabulous little snippets again and my sentiment is one I won in a challenge when I first started blogging years ago so I can't honestly tell you where it came from sorry!

My sweet image from Stamp fairy has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have used glossy accents on his nose and his antenna and some glamour dust on his wings. I have inked around the edges in vintage photo.

I'm really not caught up with the challenges at all at the moment but I am hunting down a few and would like to enter this into...
