Tae Kwon Do MASTA!!!

I am testing for my orange belt in tae kwon do on December 6th, so over Thanksgiving I had Jason teach me how to break a board (that's one of the things we have to do). This is the first real board I broke! I feel so awesome!!

Real, Live Dead People!

Yesterday I went to Salt Lake to see the Body Worlds 3 exhibit in Salt Lake with Leah, Raquel, and Amber. For those of you who don't know what it is, basically people donate their bodies to be plastinated and they display them. They take off the skin and fat and like open up the muscles and show all different body parts so you can learn about them. Some displays are just body parts separated from the rest, but there are some full bodies...its crazy. It was really cool to see, but the guy on my audio guide got really annoying. Just because it takes like almost 3 hours to go through the exhibit, and he talked for forever about each thing so his voice really started to bug me. Near the end, I only listened to the ones I was interested in. I would recommend going to anyone nearby an exhibit, but I don't know that I would bring kids because its really long, you're not allowed to touch things that are out and kids would want to touch, and there are exposed body parts that you might not want kids to see and ask you about. Also, they'd probably get annoying. There was a kid I saw with his family who was like 10 and he kept asking if each thing was real. I wanted to just be like, "Kid!! Everything is real!! Stop asking!!"

Anyways, that was the interesting thing I did with my Saturday.

On Friday night, we went to Walmart and got these awesome $5 shoes and some metallic sharpies and decorated the shoes! We also watched The Little Mermaid and Jungle book it was really fun!! And my shoes rock, as you can see.

Wondrous Sisterly Sisters

SO I have awesome sisters.

Today I got a package in the mail from Jana, who I thought of every time we talked about the Yana Rhinoceros Horn site in my archaeology class. She sent me BROWNIES!!!! AMAZINGNESS!!! I am so excited to eat them after I finish my Ramen... She is awesome! It was so sweet of her to take the time to do that for me, just because!! She followed mommy's example. :) It made my day!! I love watching her in all our home videos. She is always the funniest!! Gotta love that spirit. :)

YAY for JANA!!!

As many of you know, I totalled my car like the second week of school, so Cherise has been taking me everywhere!! She has been so amazing and sweet about helping me out whenever I need anything and I really feel like we have grown so much closer these past couple months. We have so much fun together and she and Bryce are always willing to help me and offering to help me with anything at the drop of a hat!!

YAY for CHERISE!!

When I posted last, I wasn't in the best mood...and I think Annette could tell, so she called me!! And it was only a few minutes after I had posted! We had a fun chat and she put me in a much better mood, whether she knows it or not. She sent me a copy of her beauteous novel-in-the-making, which I read in one fell swoop nonstop because it was AMAAAAZING and I loved it.:)

YAY for ANNETTE!!

Meredith is so cute! Ilove that she sent out Happy Halloween cards. She amazes me with what she gets done and the hard work she puts into everything. It made me so happy to get that little card and I have it up on my bookshelf. :) I love that I can always call her when I have a medical question and she is so helpful!! Thanks, Mer!

Jennifer gets me talking. She is so good at digging in right away to whats really going on with what I'm feeling, and sympathizing with me. She is awesome at getting me to talk about stuff even if I don't want to, when I need to. She also put up with me for TWO summers, letting me live with her and partake of her healthy delicious cooking and lively family.:)

Christine has always been an example to me. She is always working on some cute little project and she is such a MOM. She seems so happy and content with her life--so much like Mom. Family values, baby!! Love it. She always shows interest in my life when we talk and I love telling her about what's going on with me.

SPOOKY birthday...

AAAHHHHHH!!!!

Sorry this layout is retarded. SO Bryce planned for a few couples and Cherise and him and I to go to this corn maze/haunted tractor ride thing for Beast's birthday. It was really fun! The dead cat is hanging from the "haunted" barn ceiling, and the other weird picture is a creepy head poking out of a... some kind of container. The guy who owns the place leads the tours and drives the tractor with us all behind on a trailer, sitting on bales of hay. Is that how to spell bales?

Anyways, his story is that the scare crows have taken over and they try to scare us because they think its funny. So they are responsible for everything. :)
