Leaving The Meadow

Love this!

Good bye Meadow! Until next year.....

In the Meadow

View from the perfect place to camp. Fire pit

AMAZEING!!

I love this place!

We found lots of Grasshopper friends as we hiked. Sam is checking out one of them in grandpa's hangs. Ooooh, gross!

Hiking to the Meadow

We (Grandpa, Sam and I) started this hike nice and early in the morning. Just in time for the breeze to start blowing down the canyon! It was a bit chilly!
We weren't real sure which way we should go to get to the Meadow but this was the view when we got to the top of the hill we were hiking up! Beautiful! Little did we know, our destination was straight infront of us and down the hill. Instead, we took a left and hiked around for a good 30+ mins through trees and bushes until we figured things out. Now I know why my dad wears long pants and long sleeved shirts when he hikes. Sam and I got a bit scraped up. Its was fun though!

Sam and Grandpa with the walking sticks they had just found.

THE MEADOW! In the early summer, the floor of the meadow is covered with wild yellow flowers! Its gorgeous!

Lagoon

This was Sams FIRST time riding a rollercoaster. He had no idea what his stomach would be feeling as we went down the first hill. It was SOOOOOO funny! I was laughing so hard. I was trying to deal with the stomach drop myself and watch/laugh at him at the same time. hahahah! I can just see him looking down (with fear in his eyes) saying"Noooooooooo!" as we started down every hill! Sam is the best and I will laugh about this memory for the rest of eternity! Just chillin waiting for the ride to start.

Bumper Cars baby!

Our last ride of the day! I can't remember the name but it was SO fun! Its made of a big purple octopus and has fish, dolphins, whales and sharks on it too. Sam and I took turns steering it and whenever he was steering, I would get sprayed with water. Therefore................................

It looked like I peed my pants after we got done. Sam thought that was pretty funny! We laughed so hard on that ride!

Sundance

Eric Q Price and I (Bens Cousin). He hooked up with us while he was in town and I talked him into going to Sundance to ride the ski lifts. He is gonna kill me for putting this picture on my blog but its funny and he is SO freaking funny!
Mom and Dad ( dad has a sucker in his mouth and didn't bother to take it out for the pic). What a couple of cuties!

Me and my bubbas! Whenever we go to Sundance, we get a sucker with a wooden stick! The wall behind us ( if you can see it) is amazeing. I want a wall like that in my house someday!

I can hardly stand how cute this picture is. How lucky am I that I get to wake up every morning to these handsome, funny, sweet, loving, amazeing boys!!!!!

This time Grandpa is holding his sucker up by his face (hahaha), Sams is in his mouth and Ethans holding his. These boys sure love their Grandpa Lanny.

Friends

Here are Lindy and I! This year, we have been friend for 13 years! Its crazy how time flys. We met up at Sundance where we saw a musical at the Outdoor Theatre! It was hilarious!
Carli, Brandi and I out for lunch together! This is the first time we have gotten together with out kids. It was so nice to hang out and talk as much as and as long as we wanted to. I met Brandi and Carli at Lakeridge Jr High.

Here am I with Karen and Erin, a couple more of my Lakeridge Jr High friends. We have decided that every Aug or any other time I come visit, we will meet at Los Hermanos for some dinner.

Brittani, Quinn and I. We actually go way back to the "Omni" days. I think we were all there danceing every chance we got. I introduced Britt and Quinn and now they are happily married and have 4 beautiful children.

Here I am with the big sister that I never had, Kellie and my mom. When I was 3, Kellie would put makeup on me, paint my nails and let me wear her high heels. Since then though, 30 years later, we have had a TON of awesome memories together.

The Boys and I's Annual Summer Trip To Utah Part 1

The first outing of our vacation was the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. On our walk through, we stopped off at the Ponds. Sams flip flop happened to fall of his foot and into the pond (by all the fish). It floated under the walk way and and the only way we were going to beable to get it was to get into the water. Well..Tony did just that. He waded up past his nose in the water just to get Sam's flip flop. So... here we have Tony wringing out his wet shirt on Sams head and everyone was laughing. A day or two later, Tony said that he found a dead fish in the pocket of his shorts! hahahahaha!
Check out three of my beautiful neices Andrea, Adrienne and Seraphine. I am really glad that they got to come with us. It was nice to hang out together!

Me and my mommy! Thee most amazeing woman I have ever known. I am so lucky she is mine!
What a bunch a babes!

Mom, Tony and his wife enjoying the scenery!

Skinner Reunion

Here we are together. Out in nature, enjoying the beautiful evening breeze and looking forward to a night around the campfire, enjoying dorky joke after dorky joke! Besides being at Red Fish, this was my favorite part of the reunion. It is such a blast and I can't wait for next years round of jokes by the Fire. "Knick Knack Paddy Whack... give the frog a loan. His old mans a Rolling Stone."
Now this is what I like to see men doing after dinner. Scrubbing the heck out of Dutch Ovens. Good job Rick, Ben and Kev!

Ethan and his new found homie Jackson. I just love this pic!

Uncle Brian and Sam! It was SO good to have Brian and Laura and the reunion this year. I love this pic!

Jamie and her sweetheart or should I say my personal "Mountain Dew," man! No Kidding...I was totally craving a Mountain Dew and here he comes with thee coldest, most thirst qwenching Dew I have ever had! It was awesome!

Skinner Family Reunion@ Red Fish Lake

Hopefully I am not wrong but July 29 is Grandpa Skinners Birthday. We always celebrate his birthday at the reunion. This year, Ben and I got there before Dixie and Rick so, Dixie sent his present which was this "Over The Hill" hat with candles on the top. I can believe that he actually put it on so that I could take a picture.

Jerom and Staci chillin by the campfire waiting for the games to begin. I think Jerom has a peice of a Big Hunk hanging out of his mouth.

Since Ethan was born, we have always joked about the fact that he was born into the wrong family. Here is Ethan with his "real" parents, Jay and Shanna. Ethan seriously looks just like he is one of the family. Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin and freckles. So...I had to take this pic just for fun!

Here are the cousins as they set out to find their "Bug" Treasures on the yearly Treasure Hunt
