We have moved!!

Yep, that is right, we have moved. AND WE LOVE IT!! I was not sure how I felt about moving across country after living in the same state all my life. Seriously who does that, leaves everything they have ever known to move to a place they have never been to before?

We have had so much fun since we have moved...here are just a couple of places we have visited....

Cael had a Dr Seuss 1st Birthday Party.

Cael's cake was the Hat from the Cat in the Hat.

I made all the food to go along with the Dr Seuss theme and I labeled each one to show what Dr Seuss book they went along with.

Quilt Pattern 2 years in the making

I love fabric and quilts. I really do. But, I do not have the patience/expertise/time to make a big complicated quilt. So, I make baby quilts. But, instead of following someone else's quilt pattern, I made my own......It is simple, cute (which is very important) and does not take forever to make!

I never planned on making a quilt pattern for people to buy...it kinda just happened. I am so excited that it is being sold at Around the block quilters shop

I plan/hope to make more patterns. Time to get the creative juices flowing.

Ties

I saw the cutest Tie Onesies at a local craft fair. I was tempted to but one because I thought they were super cute. But I could not stand the thought of paying money for something that I could easily make myself and cheaper.
So, I was able to find this Appliqued Tie pattern at Crap I've Made. The tie pattern was really easy and turned out really cute!

All I want for Christmas is....

Caels 1st Christmas will be unforgettable. Not only did Cael get lots of presents from Santa. But he ended up getting a couple of unexpected gifts, his 2nd bottom tooth.

After Christmas we went to Colorado to spend time with Ben's family. While in Colorado we visited the Olympic Training Center.

While in Colorado Santa gave Cael a couple other presents. His 2 top front teeth. Cael now has 4 teeth. We did not even know that they were coming in. Cael got 3 teeth within 1 week!

I am so excited for Christmas.....not because of all the pretty lights and the cool presents but because it is Cael's 1st Christmas and nothing is better than your baby's first Christmas!.

To get in the Holiday Spirit, I bought Cael the cutest Santa diapers. Who would of thought that a diaper could be so cute.
