September

School at Silver Mesa continues for these cuties and they are doing great!!!

They had a jump-a-thon fundraiser which was fun to watch!

Ruth got awarded for being kind at school! I've got some good kids.

We're getting to be friends with Annabelle :) she's super fun! And pregnant so we'll see how the birthing process goes in March!!!

She eats so much grass and alfalfa!

So ben built a lovely barn to store it in!!
And he built a tree house all from wood from my parents old fence!

We went to two plays at Hale center theatre: forever plaid in the new sandy theatre and the heart of Robin Hood in the older theatre. Both were so fun!!

Other than that we just play and enjoy each other!! Especially baby Clara who's so fun!

And they sure love it when daddy comes home!

We also got new front stairs (before and after pic!) we love the new stone stairs! :)

August

In August we added a cow to our homestead! She's sweet and super fun! plus lots of garden produce!!!
We had some trips to Rockport with the Allen's and introduced Clara to food and toys!
We celebrated Ruth turning 5! and surprised my mother in law by repainting a 20 year old heavily decorated room in her basement to look a little more normal! As well as watched another depressing BYU football season unfold! haha And then we sent off Beth to 2nd grade and Ruth to 1st!! ahhh!

Our trip to Seattle and life in June

Our stops on the way were a cousin in Boise with a super fun "beach" park to play at! And an old roomate in Richland with great parks by her too! good places to get wiggles out of car sick kids!
We had such a blast in Seattle catching up with the Thomas family! kids played and did music together. We ate delicious food (thanks Rach!) We went to Vashon Island and to the beach next to Rachel's house a bunch. The trip was a success and we were all glad we went!
Other than our trip we had the end of year programs for the kids, we added two goats to our little homestead which are so fun! We welcomed home Ben's little sister Jessica home from her mission!! We previewed the parade floats and spent a lot of amazing time with cousins and a cute little Clara baby. :)

Introducing Clara Joy!!

A few things from my pregnancy that I want to remember:
I was pretty sick in my first trimester but I was also stressed more with a brand new home and all the projects that come with that as well as the stress and work involved in selling our starter home. So I was thrilled to be done with the first trimester and the sickness and tiredness that came with it. Like my other pregnancies I didn't show a ton and moving into a new ward in my second tri was fun since no one could tell I was pregnant until the third tri. We went to the beach and Disneyland in my third tri but I felt great and thank goodness didn't go into labor!
At my 38 week apt my dr said that my baby bump hadn't grown in two weeks and we should induce me later that week! I was thrilled but nervous since I hadn't ever been induced.
We went in on Friday the 24th morning and the Dr broke my water, the nurse started pitocin and I started having lots of contractions! After a few hours I got an epidural because I was dilated to a 5 and it was really painful! After that I progressed fast (another hour or so) and was ready to push. I pushed 3 times and she was out! The whole process took 5 hours and was so worth it!

Her bilirubin was high so we had to do the bilibed at home which was a little rough.

getting ready to bless her this sunday!
