INSANITY

So not being allowed to work out for the past 4 weeks has been KILLING me.

Ben got INSANITY (its kinda like p90x from what I hear..) for us to start as soon as I was able but then he got sick of waiting for me. So he started it about a week after I had Eve. I have been DYING to start some sort of work out and Ben really seemed to enjoy insanity so I was REALLY excited to start it this week...

So far I've really liked it. I had to miss a day because Ben wasn't home to help with the kids and Chloie refused to go to sleep.

It kicked my 4 weeks of no workouts butt and I could not stop laughing.
It is amazing the endorphin's that are released when you exercising, I kinda felt like I was gonna throw up a little bit but I couldn't stop smiling. Felt a little bit like a crazy person... which is probably why I looked like one HA!
:)

(me after day 4 of insanity)
loosing weight and possibly my mind... ;)

a little bit of sleep deprivation and lots of love

Can I just say that being a mom to two girls under two is EXHAUSTING, and I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING.. :)

For 3 nights in a row I did not sleep. (not for lack of trying)
Every time Eve woke up crying so did Chloie...  Eve would go back to sleep once she had been fed But Chloie would cry and cry and want to be held for 2+ hours and (not kidding) the second I would lay Chloie back down asleep Eve would start crying again... cue Chloie...
So for 3 nights I was up with either Chloie or Eve.
Yesterday was day 3 of no sleep... and Ben told be he wouldn't be home til after 10... then Chloie REFUSED to take a nap...
By the time Ben FINALLY came home I was so exhausted I was shaking and could barely walk without falling over (I'm sure forgetting to eat and doing insanity added to my exhaustion) and Ben (thinking he was funny) asked how my day was.... he didn't think he was so funny when I burst into tears... HA. I think I scared him, I don't normally just burst in tears... thankfully...

LUCKILY (for everyone's sake) BOTH girls slept through the night last night and woke up happy this morning.
It is amazing what one night of sleep can do.

After getting both the girls bathed this morning they were laying on my bed and Eve was crying so Chloie started trying to give her her binki and saying "Shhh, Its alright, its alright".
So Of course I had to grab my camera and get a few pictures of them being... them.
These girls might be exhausting but I would not trade one sleepless night of cuddling and taking care of them for anything. (Just hoping it won't happen 3 nights in a row again ;) )

I REALLY do love being a mom, I am one of those moms who stresses out about leaving her kids with... well anyone for even a short amount of time. I am so used to being with them 24/7 that being away from them is not easy for me. I almost don't know how to function with out a two year old wrapped around my leg and a baby wrapped in my arms... to be able to use both hands for anything just throws me all outta wack. :)

These two are my whole world, I don't know what I would do with out them.
I love them more then they will ever know.

I told Chloie to say Cheese so she said "BLAH" :) Gotta love my goofy girl!

It's a New Year!

Happy 2013 Ya'll!
I cannot believe that 2012 is over already!
It was QUITE a year for us. It was an amazing year!
So here's my run down of all the BIG things that happened this year:

Our Chloie turned one! She has grown SO much, she doesn't even look like the little baby we brought home.
I turned 22 then shortly after my birthday (2 weeks after on my big brothers birthday, April 9th) we found out we were expecting. (which we chose to keep to ourselves for the time being) :)
Then we got two more nieces!
and a Nephew!
Then we announced to the world we were expecting and that SHE would be here by Christmas! :)
Then Ben turned 27! (old man!)
Then our closest friends had a little boy, whom we claim as a nephew :)
Then Ben got an interview for a full time position as a Fire Fighter for Unified Fire Authority...
And on December 12th Ben got a call from Assistant Chief Kelsey offering him a full time position!!!!! (Which he obviously excepted! :) )
and four days later (December 16th) Evelynne was born!

Seriously it was such an AMAZING year for us!

This year we are in for a rough couple of months right from the start...
Ben Starts Boot Camp for Unified Fire on January 16th. He will be in boot camp Monday - Friday (sometimes Saturday too) from 7am to... well whenever they decide they are done for the day. Boot Camp will go until April. So a little of 3 months of no husband. (literally since the nights he will be home early he will be studying with the other new hires)
BUT after all of that he will start working 48hr shifts and be home 96hrs between shifts. It will be worth it! Ben will be able to be home so much more once boot camp is over. :)
and in the midst of all that...
Chloie will turn 2 on January 24th! (Seems unreal!)
This year is going to be GREAT! I cannot wait to see what else this year is gonna bring!
