The Targus Backpack finally came after almost 2 months. Approval over approvals and processes. From dept director to parts, and to manufacturing. It was afterall my fault cus i've got the part no. submitted wrongly. Got it rejected twice, approved thrice. The director must be thinking this Lim Bee Ling memang stoopid, already stated in the form to submit a new part number but still got it wrong.

anyways.....the backpack is really huge. Not very nice actually. At least nicer than my Leather Case. It belongs to me for as long as i'm still working. It's selling at MYR247 online and Quite pricey for a laptop case. I wouldnt get one like tht if i have the money. I would have bought Crumpler instead.

After my weekly floating as usual, i went to Gurney Plaza yesterday. Rose pink is now back to the display. Selling at a sticky price of 1299. I even touched it already. Left some of my fingerprints on the Clamshell. Which brings me to think about how am i gonna give my tender loving care when i bought it. There's compromise to things i think. Nice things are usually more difficult to handle.

yaya.....time flies. another week's gone and I need to get my bum move tomorrow off to work for another week.I could foresee how much work in coming days after US had done with their thanksgiving holidays. Claim OT? can fund my plan for a new mobile phone? fund my shopping list? definitely not enough.

having a aftermath effect of my afternoon nap. It isn't a nap afterall. I slept from around 2 to 6. Wondering how am i going to sleep later in another 3omins time. I think i can't be reading a book on my bed. Whenever i am, i will without fail definitely fall asleep. But that nap was so so satisfying. Satisfaction which could not outweigh my headacheness now. Should i read the book i bought on Friday which i stopped at page 41 this afternoon to put myself to bed? or should i finish up at least 1 issue of economist? or watch movie? or look at the ceiling and brainstorm a bit? but about what?

just got myself back from the Meeting and Dinner@ Paradise Beach Resort in Tanjung Bungah. I wasn't in the telematch. I went there just to listen to the important people's discussion pertaining to Dell South Asia Growth and bla bla blaa... and EAT.

dinner ended @ 8.30, reached Gurney Plaza@ 8.45. Shopped a while. I bought a Story Book. 12 bucks only. Frankly i bought for the fun of it le. With 8 issues of Economist on hand, don't have a single idea how am i gonna handle them. Unless i get 1 month leave. hahaha.which is impossible.


The training ended on Wednesday. And i was kinda shock knowing that in Dell, you'll get Certificates for attending Trainings. hmmm....yeah this is my 1st Ever Training Cert in my life and in Dell.

Most importantly, in that training there were 20 of us and were divided into groups of 5. I happened to be in the same group with this guy. Quite cute i found him. At least i know he's quite gentleman. And Funny. :D. He falls under IT dept.

It was a long day yesterday. Worked till 8.30pm. 1 and half hours was allocated to the meeting. The Committee meeting. Took pictures for Newsletter, finalise Christmas Dinner Venue and Time, Games and Cube Deco Competition. So much to do in Dell Finance.

After today i found out that i'm working in a really large as in LARGE organisation man. I know it's large lah...but never thought so huge ok? aih.. it can be quite boring dealing with this issue. just lazy to type and also don't want to get fired over dissemination of private information. forget it!

I've been spending time watching "肥田囍事" called To Grow With Love recently. Developed lots of thoughts while watching this particular drama.

I think it's a no escape for guys out there spending some time attending this drama. It's like putting themself in others shoes when they are watching it.

Putting themself in a Fat person's perspective. How they were discriminated. How they felt when they gave bad remarks about fat people. How it lowers self esteem and how it makes them feel so tiny. It's NOT all about Girls being Fat. It's about GUYS as well.

To a lot of people Fat Girls are absolute No No. Guys definitely won't look back for a slightly chubbier girl? Or at least a lil meaty they won't consider. I have come across people of that kind. I wasn't the victim to be lucky enough. At work you find more people like this. Realistic they are! And worst comes when they are not purrfect themself!

To girls on the other hand, when guys are fat they think they look ugly. Especially when on one hand they have a can of Coke plus one the other with a huge piece of Roasted Pork with plenty of fats( this is what they call NICE. Good to EAT!) walking down the streets with his bulgy belly.

One thing we have to always bear in mind. "We not only judge others, But others judge us too." Learn to develop relationship before judging. Having outer beauty doesnt mean there's inner beauty. Could be deceitful.

This is what is happening in this drama series. I think all inhabitants in this world needs to get rid of this stereotype on people whom they consider Fat.

So guys or girls out there DO NOT Feel Down when you receive sarcastic remarks. Do not react. Let them say what they want and Full Stop. They in the end felt they are stupid because their statements fail to trigger your anger or actions. This is what i learnt from my training today. Dealing With Difficult People. On Friday i called up hotels to get quotes for the Christmas dinner and it is shocking to be informed that this particular hotel is fully booked from the 17th to the 23rd Dec. That's REALLY FULL!! SO Evergreen OUT of our list. Left with Gurney and Northam.

Ou...and while i was busy looking at the Northam Hotel webpage i saw this particular fine print. All HSBC and Citibank Credit Card Holders receive 50% discount on all Dim Sum plates at Taipan Fins Restaurant. I was like OOOOO.....Serious?

Life's about FOOD. Went for another round of Xiao Long Pao this morning. Just now another round of Thai food. Memang FAT! Stopped Gym, started swimming but i dont sweat when i swim. I'm so scared the 4KGs lose will ever come back!!! And...this coming Friday we are going for another dinner at Paradise Sandy Bay. Aduiiii...

But Food is something no one can resist. Unless i'm anorexic. If i'm ever in that state....i will commit suicide.

Last night, Kt told me something unexpected from him. I had this mixed feeling...Shock plus Happy. and i actually Thanked him. For duno how many times summore. Thinking of it now makes me laugh. Hahahahahaha.... Thanks Kt.

do you have the same feel as i do? It's like Magic! Everything seems to be yesterday. A dream or a nightmare. Left to be judged.

To me the more the former is, the more the latter will become.

It's 16th Nov and come 30th marks a Great 1st anniversary. A remembrance, once forgotten, now remembered.

So what 1 yr has passed, and the road wasn't taken. Senseless direction. Aimless Ways. Millions and thousands of attempts, heaps of opportunity like no other, none given.

And It's coming to Christmas. Here except that this time it's in where i work called "A Great Place To Work" and not where i had fun.

To be involved in that committee board makes me feel like i'm back in Uni. Except that i get paid in my everyday work. But i din get extra pay for joining the committee. It's Totally VOLUNTARY.

As i come to think about this, It's a good to my resume writing in future. Also good to know diverse people ranging from Directors to small fries like me! It'll take it as part of my Working Experience in Dell.

What are expected of me before the 3rd meeting next Tuesday. Just now was the 2nd. (realise how close the committee meeting is? Even SUAMS don't have such regular meeting. If there is dun think this person i know off called F could even make it! *bluek*)

Things has been piling up recently. But what? My Economist Magazine lord. I'm 7 issues behind and nobody has any idea how am i going to finish reading them to catch up when the new issue is coming in a week's time. errghhh....

to make things worst is i have loads of dramas to watch, movies to watch, places to go kai kai, food to eat, floating to learn and worst still meetings to attend.

I just made another commitment. Apparently i'm representing the South Asia Finance Team in Dell for their Qtr 4 Teambuilding Committee. I was *FRAMED*. Shit man i have absolute no idea what they are doing and what are expected of me. The only thing is know is i have a weekly committee meeting to attend until when the next qtr finally kicks off which is in February.

I could foresee how busy my schedule can be. I could be going home at 7 at times now. Sob sobbb....

And i have to attend 2 Full Day training next Tues and Wednesday. I could feel the "tiredness" now. Better make sure the training is effective man. See how i deal with a difficult person like KimTeck (*joking*)

Advice Taken. Sour and living in denial. Time tells and No Big Deal.

Me: There are quite a number of Restaurant there other than this Xiao Long Pao shop. Can try Lemon Grass. ( Thai Restaurant, Not just serving lemon grass lah)
Papa: We shall see when we are there.

After 5 mins, when we were finally at Queensbay

Papa: Ohh i havent been here. This is my first time.
Me: This is my third time oni. Once Lemon Grass, 2nd Xiao Long Pao, and this time.

After 3 mins of driving around the shophouses. (both the babyboomers were still undecided)

Me: So eat what?
Papa: Okla Thai Food.

Mummy's happy Papa's happy.

Father said, the next time should be our treat. His birthday coming oh.

TGI Friday's

i bet you would know this famous restaurant serving steaks around the globe. It's coming to Queensbay. Opening on the 1st Dec.

A friend of mine was so excited of its opening that she went for the interview. And she is offered RM1K for a Hostess position. Mind me here is she's just like me graduated from University. UQ okay? Oh..well she opted the job for the food not for the money cus she's already earning big bucks from her data entry job. Staff discount 50% in TGI Fridays you know? If i could go "pei lou" i would want. All food at half price. *drools*

Another F&B outlet called Baoz also opening. Some shop selling pao lor if you don't know. A friend told me and i have not much idea on it either. So we shall see.

Yesterday the pricing team(us) went for a lunch. Manager's treat. This time "Xiao Long Pao" at one of the Chinese Restaurant in Queensbay. The thing that excites me the most is the Porcupine look-a-like "pao". It's yummy although it looks really gross. haha... I forgot to take a picture of it. ill make sure snap one when i go again.

I went to learn how to "phu" (float) this morning. I guess 2 hours in the water i was. Quite fun! I'm gonna make it a routine from now on.

My excitement for a new phone came nosedive when that lady told me Rosy Pink

training...

The New Qtr Training Schedule is up. I was told to attend the training called "Dealing With Difficult People". Frankly I prefer the Microsoft Excel training instead. But my direct report sent MH to the training already. What's worst is this training will be held in Dell itself when the Microsoft Excel Training will be in Island Plaza. uh ohhh....so bizarre!

I hope the training would be fruitful so that i know how to deal with Difficult People around. I can think of a few already. Those really top ones. lol....

My manager managed to earn extra monies for referrals program. So she treated us lunch. It was yesterday and hmmm...i think it will sound kinda crazy to you. We drove all the way from Bayan Lepas down to Waka Japanese Restaurant at The City Bayview Hotel on the Upper Penang Road. In the end we took around 2.5 hrs for that lunch treat. 1.5 hrs less work? Absolute NO!.. In the end i have more work to do. It's now gonna be piling up on Monday.

It does really matter cus she's gonna treat us for another lunch next Friday. At this Chinese Restaurant in Queensbay serving "Siu Long Pao". More work on top of more work. At the rate of how i'm eating, The 5KG lose for the past 2 months which i wish to maintain, now doubtfully i could. It could be tricky. Last night, i went for Steamboat@ Flame for a SC's Birthday. I was darn FULL. Her cake was interesting. Green Tea Cake with Red Beans. Yummieee.... more calories added. :(

Now that i'm ard **kg, i wana lose another 2 kgs. I hope.

I've just decided a few days ago to allocate my time to learn how to swim instead of gym. I got myself a pair of Swiming Suit and Goggle this afternoon. It costs me A BOMB!! It has been raining lately and i doubt i can jump into the pool as soon. I can't even follow my schedule today for my car wash you see.

I am a few Hundreds Dollars Richer yesterday after helping out my friend with her Data Entry work. Thanks D! Do "yik" me next time if there are any additional reports to complete.

I'm quite close to my new shopping list. An example will be getting a new Mobile Phone Z610i it is. Can you imagine how pink will look like when even black is SOooOo SOooooOooO COOL!! I bet it's gonna be COOL + HAWT!!
