Okay shall update again and share with you all regarding all the experience from camps.
Specialist Course (26-29 May)
Specialist course, the camp that i really dun feel like going, expect the Sirs and Mdm there to be very strict n scary, the environment to be uncomfortable .... Yup thats why i dun feel like going, but for the sake of getting rank , i endure it through.
Day 1 (26 May)Met up with all the other guangyang part C at yishun mrt staion at 7 , Marcus is late, so we waited for a while and had no choice but to leave without him. The walk to ang mo qiu campsite is quite long and tiring , cos we nid to carry those heavy camp stuff.
Reach the entrance and saw this note pasted on the wall, it states that a cobra is free and around the campsite there, good thing we are not staying in the camp, we are just reporting there den take bus to another real military camp.
Was assign to my platoon , Alpha 3, got 35 ppl . Brought the bus and go to the paya laba camp. Den was told which bunk we are assign to n stuff, den go to bunk put thing, surprisingly their bed got mattres one, the last camp in sec 2 is sponge. Den got 2 personal cupboard , not bad not bad , hahaz, better than wad i expected.
Took our General Specialist test, a written paper, nth much on it.
Anyway, surprisingly , the food there is quite nice and my PC n APC are not very strict.
Day 2 (27 May)
Wake up at 5 plus, den go for PT, quite a simple day , took 2 test , one is individual field craft which is all those stuff we shuld do in battle field the other is trainfire , some procedue with riffles.
Day 3 (28 May)Have the urge to go home, so bored, had been counting down until the camp end all the time. Today is Mutual test, where we have to be like teachers and teach ppl and stuff. After the test, all the test are over! Meaning 2morrow is "graduation day"
Day 4 (29 May)Yay! Last day already!!! We went to the auditorium den got some prize giving ceremony to those outstanding cadets. Den after that return , its finally time to get our rank and cookie! They give us this envelope den inside will be our rank ( 2nd or 3rd sergent ) and cookie (if we pass the test). Hahaz I got a 3rd sergent and cookie , P.s : the cookie is not a biscuit to reward us for passing the test, it is a round badge that looks like cookie that we sew on the uniform. Woohooo time to go home!!! , The GYS gather and share those funny experience in camp as each of us are in different platoon , we went to long john to eat and chat. After that had a 1 hr ride back to bishan, marcus slept the ride through , he just sit on the floor and we put all our lagguage to cover his whole body. Glad that the camp is over!!!
Went home, sleep early, to prepare for the NCC sch camp 2morrow
NCC sch campDay 1 (30 May)
The camp starts at 3pm so before that went for prayermeet with the rest. den rush home to pack my lagguage , den chiong to school =] First of all we are divided into grps to go to classroom to arrange the tables and stuff cos we will be sleeping in classroom. Den we are divided in to 4 different grps, with a mixture of sec 1, sec 2 n sec 3. I was group into Donovan, with 2 sec 2s, 6 sec 1s and Grayson as our PC.
First we are required to design our flag, i think that our flag is quite nice, hahaz. There is this flag system in every year's camp where the flag bearer will have to have body contact with the flag at all times if not the other groups can just take the flag and the grp that lose it's flag will minus point. Yup , den i am the flag holder, like quite cool, hold a stick and walk around. There is another rule is that whenever the Game master blow the whistle, we nid to chase after a senior to pass to him our flag to earn points.
Had our dinner, instant noodles we go to the back of braddel block to cook our instant noodles. After that is the first game, water bomb, quite fun bah shoot the water bomb around , hahaz.
After that is the worst part of the camp , all of us go to the AVA room den Damien took out about 10 horror movie for us to choose on wad to watch... Like all are horror, so wads the difference. In the end we watch exocist , kind of creepy, about this girl get process, burr... dun want to talk about it, real scary , i still havent get over the movie yet until now.
Yup that night majority of the sec 3 didnt shower cos we are lazy and afraid , thanks to the movie! Didnt sleep well, lolz , cos we nid to sleep on the floor, and i am still having flashback from the movie! AHhh...
Day 2 (31 May)Woke up in the morning , all the part Cs are required to meet our ex CSM , andrew to do PT, kind of tiring, hahaz. Den we ate our breakfast and pack a small bagpack and head towards pula ubin! Took the shuttle bus den boat to the island. We are all required to cycle to checkpoints around the island, quite tiring, keep cycling up and downhill.
After about 3hrs, we completed the thing and went back to starting point den we all go back to changi area to eat our lunch there. After lunch , Andrew ask me n marcus to each come out with 2 cheers for our grp if not we nid to do 150 pumping =/
Was real tired so on the way back to sch , almost everyone slept on the bus hahaz.
When we reach back sch, we go to hall to play some flag hunting sch , where we have to run around sch to find flags to win points.
Next is dinner... yum yum? i still prefer spect course food, hahaz.
Den is the exciting part! Night walk!!! Red cross and NCC both gathered at parade square , when the senior talking right, i thought i saw a white figure at braddel block second floor looking at us, but its like real fast i didnt see it for even a second, like appear n disapear, i aint even show if i really see it or is my imagination. After a while i saw it again.... Okay hope is my imagination =/
Den we all gather outside general office where it is the starting point of our night walk. Walk together with my sec 1 junior Jiong Sheng, we are required to follow the lightstick and walk around the sch. First stop we walk to the AVA room , den the senior play some laughing sound etc to scare us, i think more of make us feel scared. Den we walk to the braddle block 4th floor female toilet, when we go in right, 2 of our senior hide in the cubicle and they slam the door, that was kind of expected =] . Inside the toilet got lighted candle, den one area got this scary doll with those incense paper around it, okay thats real scary. After that leave the toilet den one of the senior i think run after us n throw a poncho on us. Den at round table got this girl in red shirt n long hair, hahaz! After that walk towards science block and Andrew jump out halfway n gave me a scare ! Den walk at the science block coridor at science block , thought that there is blue light in one of the classroom , but didnt dare to turn my head to look into the classroom. Den at 3rd floor , got this black person holding torchlight open n close the window, den next is go to the hall, walk at the backstage , and finally we reach the ending point at back of canteen. After some chat , 2 of the sec 1 actually see "real ghost" They saw a girl in white holding a candle at the science block 4 n a half floor, cos that block got access to cleaner room at 5th floor. The thing is there is no senior wearing white shirt, and none of us see it, other than the 2 sec 1s, lolz creepy!
Day 3 (1 June)Last day already, wake up eat breakfast, den we go do area cleaning, my grp was assign to the toilet n canteen, suay uh! lol. After that is the end of the camp and me,ryan,nicholas,marcus, another marcus and kaisong go to pizza hut to eat! Spend about $13.50 , but the meal was real tasty ! =] Den go home.... .... Slept for 4 hrs
After camp(2 june)Went for WFL, go to the course CLC 1! Hahaz, after that met up with nicholas at kallang mrt station to watch the Singapore vs duno wad country at national stadium , actually i go for the sake of new experience cos i have nvr go for a live match before =]. So we da bao mee gorang and den go there eat. Hahaz, i was busy eating den nick so enthu go cheer, hahaz!After that go home sleep =]
