Fillet Mignon With Risotto and Saute Mushroom in Red Wine Sauce Posted by Picasa

I know I know, I said I was gonna post them up last week....ok...I procrastinated...:D But hey, it's here...
My husband enjoyed his birthday menu but he said that he was too stuffed for his dessert so we skipped that instead (which I was glad!! coz I didn't even eat the fillet mignon! Too stuffed!). We had some wine instead. It was a really really good bottle of icewine we had, I loved it so much that I went back to the store and got three more bottles! :D Nope, I'm NOT a alchoholic, just found a wine that we enjoyed. My friend was saying that I should just buy it by the case, well, it's kinda expensive to begin with so I wouldn't want to "invest" on a case. Oh yah, for those who are interested, the icewine's Jackson-Triggs. It's just MARVELOUS!!!

This was something I cooked the other day, Ed said that it was really really good, so I had to post it...hehehehe... Besides, it looked good on photo...soo...here it is. Meanwhile, I'm still in that "cooking" mood and have really good luck in everything I've done so far....Tonight, roast pork! hehehe...tune in...

Just Because.....

Doodlebops' Time! Posted by Picasa

Ethan LOVES his Doodlebops!! Just look at his face, he's really into them, that and those creepy Teletubbies. They seriously creep me out. But he loves them;he would giggle, laugh and smile when he sees them. He's just a sweetheart! I guess I can live with "them" for now...*sigh*

Smiley Posted by Picasa

My boy always has a smile on his face, he's a truly happy kid. Of course, that's with all his tantrums aside!! :D He's got a quick temper; quick to scream at mommy for taking away the thermometer that he has found and was playing with it and quick to hug and kiss mommy back for making mommy angry. LOL MAN! How can be angry with him......

Social Norms and Eye Candies

People, in general, would think it's ok(well, wouldn't say ok but wouldn't blink an eye if this happened)for men to second glance/look/oogle at pretty gals. Well, I was just wondering if it's "ok" if it's was vice versa. That is, for women to glance at good looking men, especially married women.

Personally I don't think there's anything wrong; morally nor socially. Looking is different from acting on it. And since I'm neither blind nor void of all human responses and emotions, I can conclude that looking at good looking opposite sex is an "ok" thing to do.:)

Scenerio:

I was driving to the mall, bringing my little boy (yes, married with a kid)there to play. At the traffic stop, I happened to glance into the car on my left!! WOOHOOO!!! Three hot guys (early twenties I think)who looked like they came out of a Abercrombie and Fitch catalog in a GMC Jimmy...... I mean, they are some serious eye candies! *drooling* ok...try to act nonchalant, don't want them to think that I'm some kind of pervert. Can't help but kept turning to the left for more glances.....*GRINZ* At this time, feeling a little light-headed and goofy!! Heheheh.....a little too school-girlish!! hehehe...

Now, I did feel a twinge of guilt, don't know why but I think it's that whole social norm thingy. I justified the whole deal in 2 seconds flat! There's nothing wrong in the staring and oogling, besides they deserve all that oogling just for being that HOT *GRINZ*, it's their given right and benefit just for being cuties! hehehe... I know I know...I've got a kid...blah blah blah....know what, there's nothing wrong in looking as long as it's just looking *wink*

Oh yah, back to those hotties. We kept stopping next to each other at almost every traffic lights. More glances for me...hehehe...(ok, I'm REALLY beginning to sound like a pervert now! heehhe). We ended up at the same mall!!! LOL!! Guess they were heading to the A&F there!! hehehe

Euphoria!!!

Got most things done on my checklist!! It was getting so long and I was simply procrastinating. Well, set my mind to, at the very least, check off some stuff...:D Soooo..it's been a good week so far....

Kitchen wise, things have been really good too!!! *surprise surprise* Everything that I've "experimented" turned out pretty good. Ed thought it was pretty much restaurant quality!! HA! He says that coz he can't cook and as long as it's spicy AND sweet, it's fantastic to him!! On the other hand, if I may say so myself, perhaps the food was better than usual! I think checking off that silly list helped...well, least setting me in a better mood!

Nevertheless I "strive" to outdo myself...*grinz* Tomorrow would be my "BIG" day!! It's Ed's B-day and I've decided to whip up a "classified-gourmet-STYLE" meal!!! Tune in for the next entry and you'd know what happened. It can turn out to be either good or really disasterous!! You never know. Somehow the quality level and result of my food coincide with the level of my stress which also is related to that DAMN list!!! *bimboitic look* *GRINZ*

So far I've taken some pics of the food I've done and I'll try to have it posted asap. Meanwhile the birthday dinner menu is, of so far, Grilled Loster tail with herb butter on a bed of potato, avocado and micro green salad with the basic vingerette and Beef Tenderlion with porcini mushroom risotto and drizzle with red wine sauce. And for dessert, a twist on a virgin pina colada, it's slightly grilled pineapple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon top with vanilla ice-cream and a little grated coconut and some mint to garnish. An elaborate Surf and Turf menu...

Ed doesn't know the menu yet, I simply told him that we are eating at home and there would be NO dinner reservations ANYWHERE! He was kinda dissapointed when I mentioned that coz he had his mind set on Fogo De Chao. Oh well...TOO BAD!!!! We can do that some other time...hmmm...I'm thinking of my birthday!! heheheheh...

Anyway, there's another surprise on its way and NO, SAN, I'm not pregnant!! It's about the blog...we'll see if it can be done, don't want to dissapoint anyone so am keeping my mouth SHUT! *GRINZ* Hmmm...probably should have more of that Felix Felicis *WINKZ* heehehehehhe.... meanwhile...tune in..soooonnn....

PS: Hey San, got HP yet???? Oh yah, btw, what's the deal with TGOT?? Errmmm...on that you can email me...hehehehe...I NEED DETAILS....Yah, my life is pretty much stagnant....

Can't wait for the last volume to this whole saga!! Two more years you think???? Heheheheh...

Sooooo...San...what you think, I don't want to ruin the book for you but I've to find someone to "discuss" this...hehehe.....sooorrryyy but I think I've to spoil it for you...*GRINZ* I spent some time thinking what R.A.B would stand for???? San, do you think it might be Regulus A Black, Sirius' deceased younger Death Eater brother??? I thought it might be him coz Rowling mentioned him a few more times than she did in any other books. Anyway just my 2 cents' worth...what you think?????? Again sorry if I ruined it for you but, hey, you'd reach that point of the book anyway...:D

PS :For anyone who wants to comment on that...feel free....

Gonna to read it once more...just in case..:D

KILLER BEES!

KILLER BEES!!!!! Posted by Picasa

Like what I said, KILLER BEES!!!! These bees were here on my tree in my back yard!! Imagine my horror, terror, fear...(you get the idea)of those horrible horrible horrible creatures! No, they are not the custy bumble bees(like moi...:D) nor the honey bees, they are the fear inducing Africanized Bees which had been terrorising our area for a while now (EVERY SUMMER!! only this time, it's in MY YARD!). Anyway, YICKS, they went away after two days of being there, buzzing and scaring me to death! They left one morning with no trace of what so ever of them ever being there...*GULP* Check the whole entire exterior of the house, just to make sure they are not buzzing around....*relief* they are not! Hope I will NEVER EVER see them AGAIN!!!!! *background knife-swishing sound from Pyscho*
