USA????

Thought it might be interesting....

Saw this product while in Thailand. Ermmm..USA?? Actually it's Thai "alphabet" and it reads "Breeze". Yes, "Breeze", I'm not kidding. It's a laundry detergent and was wondering why would anyone name a laundry detergent "USA". Well, found out that it isn't English. Well, that figures... hehehehe... still it's interesting. Says a lot about my ignorance! Oh well....should have known, I was in Thailand..hehehe...

Interesting huh?

...not since the Pan Am days....

Thought this was interesting. Was in Koh Samui and I think it was Bangkok Airways but check it out!! There's no "bridge" connecting the plane to the gate, they put you in a bus and send you out to the runway to hop on the plane!! INTERESTING experience, haven't done that since I was a little kid myself, sure brought back memories. By the way, the whole Koh Samui airport IS interesting. The airport's open as in open air, as in there's no buildings, it's all little shelter huts here and there acting as terminals, checkpoints and lounges, every the laidback! Now, that's what you call COOL!!! hehehehe... You can even see the planes landing right in right of your eyes, and I'm not exergerating. I wished I had some pics to prove but thing is, the pics didn't turn out good. It was taken at night and the plane was really too fast to be capture by my little point and shoot camera. Too bad...probably next time..;)

My Koh Samui Vacation

Koh Samui, my husband's birth place. It's so beautiful and peaceful, so far still considered untouched by ugly tourism and concrete forests. The weather there was brutal; real hot and humid. The food there; overly spicy. But you know what, it's overall a worthwhile treat, just look at the pictures!

Back to WORK!

Finally back home after 3.5 weeks of hustle and bustle of vacation, if you even call that a vacation. Still suffering from the jet lag but not as much as my little boy who, right now, not only suffers from jet lag but also suffers from the lack of 100% attention that has now turned him from an independent toddler to a complete pitiful clingy little baby.....*sigh* It's so sad yet so frustrating at the same time. I hope and PRAY that time would change him back into that independent dare devil who got left behind home when we left for our vacation!
Meanwhile, need to get back into this time zone and blog further...ciao Of course, pics included!
