Happy Teacher's Day
This morning, we have presented a small hand bouquet and a jar of homemade cookies to Ms. Naira immediately after class. She was very much delighted to the pleasant surprise from us.
Happy Teacher's Day in advanced, Ms. Naira.
This blog is designed specially for our daughter, Beatrice so that we could share our joy as parents with our friends and relatives alike. Do drop by our blog for new updates and witness with us her growth. Check out the candid shots we will be capturing, and the joy she will bring to you ...
It's was a week of learning and fun for Beatrice who has attended ACT3's June holiday workshop last week. The Land of Oz or The Wizard of Oz, a story Beatrice was so familiar since last December. And we really want to thank Mommy Egg who has gotten the book for her as her Christmas present.
This was the day of the presentation, and Beatrice was the poisonous poppy. The story has been slightly changed to accommodate the young learners, and interesting characters were introduced to the storyline.
Here is little Rianne and Beatrice, posing outside the theatre.
The 2 girls enjoyed their week of fun at the workshop. They shared their snacks, they are great companions!
The children were given specific color outfit to dress up for the presentation day. The poppies were all in white, while the rest of the characters were all in white tops and brown bottoms, yellow tops and brown bottoms.
Here is Beatrice in her red shimmery scarf, as the poisonous poppy.
Ms. Asha was asking the parents to sing along to the music of, "Follow the Yellow Brick Road".
Rianne is the Princess Flying Monkey. She is swinging her arms, and moving as if she was flying.
Little Rianne is looking more like Mommy Stephy =)
And here is our girl, standing at the spot she was suppose to be and ready to give her best shot.

Here is an excerpt of the presentation. As the presentation was approximately 30 mins in duration, and the file is quite big. We are only show casing Beatrice and her presentation.

We took a kilometer stroll to and fro from where we had parked our car, and to the entrance of the park. Beatrice was bursting with energy as we stroll along the reservoir. She enjoyed the breeze that gently kissed her cheeks, and she enjoyed kicking the stones and gravels on the pathway. The first kilometer was a breeze, but heading back to the carpark was a real pain for Beatrice. She was tired from the walk and mommy has to piggy back her for a short distance, before she reluctantly landed her feet and started walking again.
This looks like Daddy was going to swinging Beatrice round and round ... like a propeller! No, no ... in fact, Beatrice was pulling and tugging with Daddy. She wanted to be carried as we prepared to head back to our car.
And here is Daddy and Beatrice, having a picture taken near the floating platform.
