Mid-Autumn Festival

We were at the Bishan Park on Friday with the Ang's Family for the mid-autumn fest celebration. The children had the opportunity to carry the battery operated lanterns, as well as the nostalgic lanterns lighted up with candlesticks.

There were so many people at the park, and they were mostly gathered around the playground for a mini celebrations. It was quite a sight!

The children played at the playground for a while, and we adjourned to the amphitheatre for our mini celebration at the park! Mommy Egg and Daddy Ang brought with them mooncakes, and tibits. While we shared with everyone our colourful yummy jellies. As we chattered and made merries, baby Alden started crying for milk. Well, it was about 10pm! We headed back to the carpark and waved goodbye and good night to everyone.

It was a fun night, and Beatrice hit the pillow in less than 5 :)

To the Zoo, with the Lee Family

An impromptus decision was made when we were at Vivian's wedding.

Christine: We are going to the zoo tomorrow.
Larry: We are going to the zoo too! Maybe we can meet and go together, for a picnic too.
Chow Wee: Ok. We will meet at 10am, at the zoo entrance tomorrow.

Here are some pictures of Beatrice and Aloysius. Hand in hand as they walked together. Both of them were engaged in conversation as they walked together. It was a great sight to see both of them enjoying each others company.

Beatrice has a whale of a good time that day! She was having so much fun, and she loves being with Aloysius, who will play and engaged her in little conversation. We are looking forward to more zoo trips with the Lee family, since they have also signed up as Friends of the Zoo.

Both daddies were tempted by the promotion of having 3 rides for a great saving of just S$10. They made a quick purchase of the tickets, and off they went for the first ride. The Carousel.

Both Aloysius and Beatrice had a great time on the carousel!

While the daddies and their tots were queuing for the horse ride, Beatrice told daddy she has a secret to share. Chow Wee was also very interested in the secret, and he leaned himself forward to listen to the secret Beatrice has to share with her daddy. Chow Wee was astonished by the secret shared, and he burst out giggling with comment: "your daughter is so cute."

So what exactly has Beatrice told Daddy?

Here is what Beatrice has shared:

Beatrice: Daddy, I want to poo poo ...
Daddy: *Faint* When I am queuing for your horsey ride, you need to poo poo ... Now we need to get
mommy to help us to stand in the queue.

Of late, Beatrice likes to tease us and she will always whisper her nature's call to us in secrecy. Next time, when you hear that she has a secret to share, don't be too enthusiastic about it, for it maybe another nature's call :)
