Biking @ East Coast with Amelia

We were out early last Sunday morning, and we were on our way to pick up Amelia and Mommy Egg to the East Coast park for breakfast cum cycling. Sorry Sean, you can't join us for the fun *wink*. But never mind ok, we will go again when you have recovered from the dots dots dots ... hehehe .... :)

We were at McDonald's for pancakes, big breakfast, egg muffins, milo and coffee. Look, Amelia is grinning happily here with her ketchup in her ... hmm .. middle finger! piss piss Amelia, no middle finger darling ... :P

And here are pictures of the two girls! These will be fond memories to them when they grow up! Right, Alice?
I think Amelia is a little .. "stone" in the picture above. Maybe she is zzzing while taking a picture! Wakey wakey ...

Amelia is roaring for the camera! A tigress roar, greeting every one Good Morning!
Guess what is Amelia doing here? She is showing everyone that she is having a yummy yummy breakfast :D
Amelia is feeling sleepy ... it is still early on this Sunday morning.
After breakfast, the girls are out to burst their loads of jumping energy building up inside of them. Amelia is looking like a pro on the bike! Nice.
Mommy ... gimme that HUG HUG I deserve so very much!
Learning. The two girls are learning to maneuver on the bike.
Pretty ... pretty little dolly, Amelia.
These are some of the pictures we have taken that very morning.
Cheeze, Uncle Laura ..., am I looking great on this bike?
These are some picture of close up shots of our little Beatrice. Beatrice wanted to fly to a faraway land with a big bunch of balloons when she say some of the balloons flew up into the sky.
Mommy Egg, Beatrice and Amelia.
One of the girl is taking a break, while the other one is working hard on mastering her skills on the bike :)
Moms & Babes.
It was really good to bring the kids out for outdoor activities. The sun has dried up Beatrice's wet nose, and both Amelia and Beatrice had a good sweat out that day!

To the Zoo with Amelia and Family

We were at the Zoo with Amelia, Alice and Sean 2 weeks ago. That day was our first time there since they revamp the place. And you know what, we are friends of the Zoo again (with increased fees this time round)! For a start, the girls are taking a group photo to share our joy for meeting up and being at the Zoo. Yippie!
And here we are again, taking picture together with the backdrop of the late Ah-Meng. Look at the girls, they are posing for the camera too! Ain't they sweet =)
This picture was so beautifully taken, in my pinion of course :P
Simply look at it like a silhouette, do you see great similarities? We definitely do! And look at how focus and serious they are, as they watched the elephant show. Great job Daddy! This is one of my Favourite. Sean, you've gotta pay for this particular shot we have taken of you and Amelia ;D
And this shot, it is so funny the way Amelia pose for the camera. And I Love this picture too. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. Alice, I think you should send Amelia for Ballet, I think she a natural =) heheheh .... maybe the girls should go for dancing class together.
This is a collection of some shots we have taken of the two girls. About 150 were taken, and I am trying to squeeze in all that are nice. Enjoy!
Both Amelia and Beatrice simply love to mimic how Daddy and Mommy take pictures. And look at how "professional" they look when they are handling the camera.

We brought our lunch, snacks, and fruits for a picnic. Look at how the girls enjoy themselves!

After lunch, we headed for the kidz world. There are so much fun things children can do there. A list of activities available is pony ride, water fun, viewing of small animals like rabbits, hamster, pony, experiencing the old kampong life style and a corner where children can let about balance. It was so different from before like 6 months ago. And I enjoyed myself truly when the two girls were having water fun. By looking at the big bucket filled up with water, and then the bucket is over-turned by a mechanism, and a strong gush of water is being pour down as the kids waited to be SPLASHED on! Aiyo, by looking at it already makes it so fun and thrilling, what to say about being in. How I wish I was a child again =D
Here is Beatrice going on a pony ride with Belle the pony. We were really surprised that she made it this time. She was so brave! And she truly enjoyed herself, very much.
Here are some pictures of the animals we have taken for the day. There is this big pelican, a white peacock (rare species, albino maybe), monkey, elephants, orang utan, ostrich, tiger, zebra and the much talk about, meerkat on Animal Planet now.
It was a fun-filled day at the Zoo. And never before has Beatrice visited the Zoo for a full day. She was completely knock out by 730pm, after we showered her and fed her after we were home.

Swimming, our exercise routine

Heard about the benefits of having your kids to attend swimming lessons? Definitely, right!

Since the start of school this year, Beatrice has so far visited her PD once in the month of February. Other than her usual sneezes and post nasal drip, I would say that her immune system is so far so good. But of course, we do have her regular medicines like Zyrtec and Rhinatiol on standby.

It can be very stressful to cope with, when your child get sick frequently. Managing between work and attending to the needs of your young one can sometimes drive a mom bonkers. Here is what I would like to share with mommies out there on some tips to boost your child's immune system (especially for those who are in childcare or have started pre-schooling):

1. Make sure your child pass motion every day. This is crucial as we do not want any toxic to build
up in their system.
A child would tends to fall sick easily if she does not clear her system regularly.

2. Make sure your child drink plenty of fluid. Be it water, juices or soup, a child must be served with
enough fluid to aid the digestion and absorption of food into their body system/blood stream.
Imagine a child who eats a lot of biscuits, candies, snacks, fried/fast food etc. And if the child
does not drink enough water in a day, this will definitely make her stools really hard. And hard
stools might make the child constipated, hence, passing of motion will not be regulated.

3. For child who tend to sneeze and cough frequently, do serve them with lots of warm water. It will
help to reduce the development of phlegm.

4. Try to serve your child with lots of fruits and vegetables rather than loading them with meat,
burgers and french fries.

5. Try to serve garlic and onion in your child's meal. I would tend to pump up the quantity I would
serve in Beatrice's meal regularly, if she happens to sneeze a great deal. Garlic helps to boost
the immune system of children and adult alike.

6. Try to avoid giving eggs when your child is down with flu. And try to avoid fish when you child has
a chesty cough with lots of phlegm.

7. Last but not least, try to get your child to be involved in activities like swimming, jogging, and
even cycling. These exercise can help to develop the lungs and boost the immune system of your
child.

Hope that the tips I have shared above will be useful to mommies out there. And I do hope that all the kids out there will have a good immune system to enjoying themselves in school and at play. By the way, if anyone out there want to meet us up for a swim with the kids, our Beatrice will be thrilled. And we do welcome you to join us too where we swim at this swimming pool every weekend =D

Backdated Post: Ah Ma's Birthday celebration

Last month, we celebrated my mommy's birthday. After our dinner at the Coronation Plaza, we adjourned to KBox at Clementi for a fun filled nite of singing. And the young ones really enjoyed themselves with all the singing and shaking of their bum bums.

Here is our Family Photo.

Hug Hugs! Don't we love them, especially with the ones we LOVE. This is Strictly for the girls only.
And this is mommy and me. Don't we look alike, yeah! =)
Beatrice has gotten the privilege to hug and pose with Ah Ma for the camera.
And this is mommy's favourite Durian cake. Yummy yummy, it is so rich with durian fillings.
Our little Beatrice was trying to see if Daddy will get her to smile for the camera. Smile Beatrice, say cheeze ... and she only smile after Daddy turn off the camera .... arrghh ... cheeky girl!
Look at the two girls, enjoying themselves so very much. Don't they look professional =D
And here is our little Beatrice, while waiting for her turn to sing, she was observing what we were doing.
This is a video of our 2 lovely girls singing. And it is definitely Beatrice's first time. While Alicia looked like a veteran in karaoke, our Beatrice is definitely good with her shake a bum bum moves!

BackDated Post: Meeting Up with Rianne, Steph & Terrence

Sometime back last month, we meet up with the Soh Family @ the TP Hub after Rianne's class. It was a long time, since our last meet up. Well, at least I am glad that our little Beatrice still remember everyone in the Soh Family =)
This is little Rianne. She is so sweet, and gentle. And cheeky too =P
Look at the two girls. They enjoyed their dinner @ Sweden, and their drinks @ Coffee & Bean.
And here is our little Beatrice posing for the camera with her new haircut. So "gong gong" looking =(
Hey, they are both looking more and more alike ...
Here are some pictures our little Beatrice has taken:
say Cheeze ...
oops, Rianne is just not ready yet. Still thinking of a good pose ...

and here is Daddy Terrence, looking like a Rabbit ...
