Beatrice Learns to "Click ... click ... click ... "

When Elise shared about Hector learning to take pictures for Dad and Mom on their vacation, I saw Larry's face was beaming with joy of ideas to be put on trial! And true enough, when Beatrice said that she wanted to take pictures of the flowers at Sentosa, Larry promised her that he will let her take some later.

Back home, he took out my Fujifilm D camera and pass on to Beatrice on Saturday for some photo shots she has been wanting to take. And here we are, sharing with you some pictures Beatrice has taken.

Looking at the pictures, we would say that our little princess has done quite a good job as a first timer. As she went clicking on the button, we also kept on reminding her that she must see our heads and our chin before she press the button. Well, on the whole she did take note of our whole head. But I think, it is the fidgeting that has caused a distortion to the pictures. Furthermore, as our young one is still developing her fine motor skills, hence, it will really take a while before she masters the technique of taking a decent picture.

Well, on that note, Beatrice did managed to take a great shot of both Larry and myself. Both of us were so surprised and happy to know, that at last, we can have our couple pictures taken! (it has been over 2 years since we have couple photos) And we are proud to present this piece of "art" to you =P

Beatrice's first exposure to photo taking on Saturday has boosted her confidences this Sunday, when she demanded to take some pictures. And these are what she has taken. Not too bad har.

This is a picture of YiYi Erica and YiZhang Johnny. Though the focus was not on the subject, but at least, Beatrice managed to keep the lovey dovey couple, "as a whole", in this picture.

When you don't take the young photographer seriously, and believe in her skills, this is what will happen. The subject on the right seems to be thinking, "Meimei, do you know how to take? Is YiYi in the picture or truncated?" hurhurhur ....

And a nice picture of us again! Bravo Beatrice! Both Daddy and Mommy are counting on you to have our pictures taken everytime we go on an outing from this moment on. Yippie =)

Seventh Day of Spring

This year, we had our "lo-hei" lunch to celebrate "ren ri" at Peony Jade Restaurant at Clarke Quay. The restaurant has red lanterns hanging above the entrance, and we have to take a lift to the 2nd floor to be seated at our table. The ambiances is cosy, the seats are comfortable, and there is ample space between seats to allow for movements. We truly enjoyed the food we have ordered, and this is a great restaurant to keep in mind for our next gathering.

Sixth Day of Spring

There is no visiting or gathering today because Beatrice has classes on Saturday. Hence, we will also try to bring her back home for good nap before she attends the next class in the late afternoon. Well, the classes she is attending are all "fun" programmes, which she loves to do. Just like this one you get to watch her in action.

This is a picture of us with our uni friends, having a dinner meet up at Shokudu. There were only 7+ of us that evening, including our little Beatrice and WeeNee's # 3 in her tummy. Our friends, Alice and Mike were unable to meet up last minute as they were down with flu. As for Angeline who was already in the carpark, she has to leave after making 2 rounds in the carpark without finding a lot. Guess it was a wrong day for the gathering, as most roads around the boulevard road were closed for the Chinggay rehearsal. And the carpark was already full by about 7pm.

For those who have missed the gathering this time round, not to worry. Larry has planned to arrange for another one maybe later this year. And hopefully by then, more of our friends will be available. See ya then!
