Sentosa Siloso Beach Resort, 21-23 June 2008

Our 3 Days 2 Nite stay at the Siloso Beach Resort filled with fun activities.

21st June, Day 1
Itinerary:
To the Underwater World
To the Merlion
To the Sky Tower

This is my 2nd visit to the Underwater World before we adjourned to Sakae Sushi restaurant for our dinner.

Mommy's Comment:

Beatrice has much more fun this time round at the Underwater World. She is able to identify the sea creatures and fishes on display.

The night view of our little island from the Sky Tower was breathtaking, magnificent, and beautiful!

22nd June, Day 2
Itinerary:
To the Sky Tram & LUGE ride
To the Siloso Beach
To the Dolphin Lagoon
A Dip in the Swimming Pool

We took the Sky Tram to get to our 1st Luge Ride. The ride was long and scary. My mommy has to grab hold of me so tightly, in order to prevent me from slipping through the seat of the Sky Tram.

Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed our ride. I was wooing and awing when Daddy "drifted" me through the bend along the LUGE course.

Mommy has decided not to proceed with the 2nd ride as I was calling out to her when we were on the Sky Tram. I have been demanding for her to carry me, because I was scared of height, just like her. Since mommy was not going for her second ride, neither am I. My poor Daddy has to go on the ride alone. Mommy felt a sense of loneliness, and so did my Dad when he was up on the Sky Tram all by himself. In the end, he decided to forgo the last ride on his own!

Mommy's Comment:
This is a must for parents with kids of height 90cm and above.
Our little Beatrice is so inspired to "drive" after the ride.

I am having lots of fun playing at the Siloso Beach. Daddy covered his feet with sand and demanded that I buried my too. I was very very reluctant, because I did not want to get my feet dirty! eeee .... errr ... yucky ....

We went for a dip in the pool before we headed for our dinner at the Coastes that evening. Since we are all meat eater, Daddy ordered seafood stew and sausage platter for our dinner. Yippie! I love meat, and of course, my veggie too ~;~
23rd June, Day 3

Shortly after our breakfast, we took a walk to the Imbian Station. I "tango" to the latin music at display, just outside the entrance to the Songs of the Sea.

We took the tram ride back to the resort, packed, showered, and get ready for check out.

Mommy's comment:
Personally, I feel that bringing tots for a holiday is not an easy task. There are just too many things I have to fret about. Things like, how come she did not pass motion, what should we eat so that I could give her lots of veg, how to handle a kid who is lack of nap ... so on and so forth.

Well, guess I really have to shelf my plan to go for a holiday with Beatrice for the time being.
Or rather, without her.
Anyway, Beatrice will be attending PG this September. So in the short run, there will be no holiday for the family, except for during the school holiday!

Happy Fathers' Day & Happy 10th Wedding Anniversary

This is my Daddy receiving a surprise delivery from The Olive 3 on behalf of my mommy. And this is a picture my Daddy has taken with the sweet looking volinist.

Mommy has gotten Daddy a surprise delivery last Thursday. It was their 10th Wedding Anniversary and a Father's Day surprise in advanced. Look at the surprise look on my Daddy's face, and the specially selected repetriore "L.O.V.E" and "Canon in D".

The Mousy Poem

My Grandma is not only my care giver, she is also my Chinese Teacher. My ability to communicate so fluently in mandarin is an attribute to her constant teaching, story telling and singing. Lunch with the Soh Family

We had an impromptus lunch arranged with the Soh Family this afternoon, right after Kor-Kor Marcus' class. It has been about 3 months since our last meet up at Aunty Alice place for Lunar New Year gathering. See how fast Kor-Kor Marcus has grown. He was sharing with me the words he has learnt to spell today. And Mommy cannot help commenting about his good looks, as usual!

It was a great lunch and a great meet up too, although it was for only about 2 hours. Guess it will have to take another 3 months or so before we meet up again =D

The Fastest Fruit Cutter in TP, Jurong and some say Chinatown ...

I love to pretend to cook for Daddy and Mommy with my set of cooking utensils and food Daddy has bought for me. Look at my cutting skills. I am aspiring to be Nigella Lawson. She is mommy's favourite express cook, who will host her cooking program on Channel 16 of Travel & Living every Friday nite from 8-9pm.

See how fast I cut the fruits. I am the most express cutter of fruits in town, or rather TP blk XXX. Even the Ah-Peh selling fruits for years at Chinatown market also cannot compare har. Don't play play hor ;P

Reading Pleasure!

This is an uncensored footage of my reading moment. I am an avid reader just like my Daddy. He is the one responsible for my interest in reading. He has been reading to me since I was a baby. This is how we bond and spend our time together.

Garden Crawlies @ Junction 8

Creepy garden crawlies have crawled into the foyer of Bishan Junction 8! Daddy brought us there to look at the display of giant tarantula, preying mantis and dragonfly. There are also bugs and butterflies on display too. Do catch the exhibits before it ends on 11 June.

End of Term 2 at JG

Time really flies! We have just completed our second term at JG, and this is the second party we had before we break for the June holiday.
