Evening Stroll @ MacRitchie

Daddy brought us to MacRitchie Reservoir just now for an evening stroll. We were so lucky to get a parking lot immediately when we arrived. I overheard Daddy telling Mommy that it has been ages since they last landed their feet on the soil at MacRitchie. I don't know why but anway, this is my first.

There were many joggers and families with children out on the bridge for a stroll and terrapin watching! I saw squirrel just in front of me and a monitor lizard too! Though the reservoir is not that a primitive place to be, but it's good enough to learn about sciences that's out of my picture book! kekeke ...

Guess what I am doing here in the above pictures. I spotted a terrapin swimming in the reservoir between the planks where I am standing. And I am trying to peep at it.

Look! I get to walk on my own on the bridge. Daddy will only let me walk if the surface is safe enough. He says kids like us have delicate skins, besides, I am a girl leh. Got spots and marks on my leg won't make me prettier you know. Arrghh ...

Look! Daddy and Mommy has caught their little princess in action again! This time round, I am exploring the Science of Cause and Effect. I just love to make objects fall from height to see what happen next. Tapping objects together and on surfaces are also part of my play and learning phase.

Daddy bought me this hammer long long time again when I was about nine months old. I am having lots of fun! Are you =)

Mei Mei Amelia's Birthday Party

We were at mei mei Amelia's birthday party two Sundays ago. Uncle Sean and Aunty Alice booked a chalet at East Coast for the celebration. I was unable to stay for the cake cutting ceremony because I was too sleepy. I was in a cranky mood as the weather was quite humid. Moreover, it was about time that I retire for the day. When we took our leave, I felt asleep almost immediately when we got into daddy's car.

Well, mei mei Amelia has finally walked out of babyhood. We are all toddler now, yippie! It is really fun to be a toddler. We are capable of demanding for things now. We do get our freedom occasionally when the adults think that we should exercise our muscles. And this is where we get to walk and hopefully run! It is a world of fun with exploration and learning awaits us! Let's grow and learn together mei mei Amelia

"NA" ... Please take ... and Thank You!

Whenever mommy gives me something, she will always say "Na". And I have learnt that expressive word from her after sometime. Now, whenever I wanted to give somebody something, I will say "Na" and then "Thank You".

Shapes and Placement

This is something my mama has been teaching me for about 2 months now. I have managed to put the circles in the right placement and I am currently learning to put the rectangle block correctly and properly. My mama has been urging my mommy to be more diligent in coaching me to identify the shapes and she is keeping a close track of my progress. Guess daddy and mommy must be stressed. heheehee ...

I Love to ZIP ...

Well, Mommy is not the only one who is busy of late. I have been very busy too.

The big big world of mine is always so interesting and fascinating. I just love to explore and learn. Its a never-ending task, and neither is it a tiring one for me =)

Look here! I have finally master the technique of zipping. I know how to zip and unzip the bag.

Psst! Tell you a secret. I have fallen in love with my mommy's bag. I will always pretend to say "Bag ... Bag ..." to mommy. And then I drag it to the floor without her notice, pull the zippers and take out the things in her bag. Guess what will happen to my mommy.? She will fume, faintz maybe and say Beatrice, "Notti Notti". kekeke ...

Nap ... Nap ... Nap ...

Lately, I have learnt to say nap and I have also learnt to identify the word nap when shown the word. See, I have managed to drag the cushion from the couch and place it on the floor so that I can take a nap =D

Musical Chair, Musical Chair, Sing for ME!

Mommy has been busy of late to blog and post my growth and development for all our friends and relatives. Nevertheless, she did managed to find sometime off this evening to post my latest pictures.

This is my favourite musical chair, a birthday gift from Aunty Karen and Uncle Derrick. I love to sit on it because it will sing and I will sway with the songs.

My mommy has secretly captured the way I tried to sit on the chair. Well, brothers and sisters out there, please do not learn the way I sit because daddy and mommy say that it is dangerous. I am still trying to master the right way of turning around, feel the chair and then safely land my butt butt on it. Hopefully, by the next time mommy sneak up behind me with her camera, I should be able to show you the right way to sit.
