On the Hippo Tour!

Last Saturday, we went on a ride on the Hippo Tour, which was meant for tourist. Both Larry and myself enjoyed the ride very very much!

The ride starts @ 6pm and ends @ 10pm. We board the bus @ 550pm outside Suntec Convention Center, which heads for the Magical Musical Fountain @ Sentosa. Little Beatrice enjoyed the 20 mins show that starred Kiki, the monkey. Both Larry & myself were in awe when the fireballs emitted from above the water fountain!

Afterwhich, we proceed to Bugis @ 815pm from Sentosa via the Nicoll Highway. By this hour, our little princess was fast asleep in my arms while Larry and myself enjoyed the beautiful night scenes, and the skyscraper emerging from the side of the highway. The night was so beautiful and the “breeze” from the topless ride created the most punk hairstyle neither of us would wear to the streets!

Our intention of going for the ride was to bring Beatrice to view the beautiful and the most captivating Christmas lighting we have here in Orchard Road. However, being a early sleeper, our princess managed to stay awake till about 830pm, when we were at Bugis before she finally doze off!

We have intended to go for the ride again next Christmas when Beatrice is much older. Hopefully by then, she can stay up a little long and enjoy the Christmas lighting with us = )

Larry and I took this picture last Christmas! When I had little Beatrice in my tum-tum, and she was about 4 months old then ... still a foetus ...

Its so ... so nice to look @ my last year Christmas pics and recap all the wonderful xperiences I had when I was pregnant!

Well, for this year, I get to hug hug and hold my darling in my arms for the Christmas season! Isn't it wonderful! Wow, this tells me one thing! Time Really Flies!

See, my darling is already 7 months old today!! Isn't she sweet and beautiful!

We have only brought her to Orchard for the Christmas lighting once, and we will be bring little Beatrice to see more Christmas lighting in the next two weeks!! I heard that there are Santas in shopping malls waiting to take pictures with kids =) hmm, wonder if little Beatrice will be co-operative enough to sit on Santa's lap!

hahah ... I'm gonna hunt for one and try it out!

Oh, by the way, please do not use stroller if you are in town, cos it is jam pack and moving around in pram is really really difficult and inconvenience. So strip your bbies or sling them if you can ...

The Wonderful Feeding Spoon from PIGEON

See how the wonder of this Pigeon feeding spoons work!
It is really helpful for first time moms who are trying to wean their babies. I used to use those plastic baby spoons to feed Beatrice, and it makes feeding stressful and messy. After Larry & myself found this wonderful gem =) Larry says, feeding is much cleaner and easier now! Aye … does this sound very very exaggerated har? But, my mommy loves them too!

Let me share the beauty of these spoons:
1. My girl looks cleaner cos first time feeding can be very very messy if you are not skill like me
2. The spoon is designed in such a way that it fits my girl’s mouth nicely. Not like those plastic spoons where there are excess spaces on the side. And by the time you finish feeding your baby, he/she may have those redness or soreness around his/her mouth =(
3. To introduce your babies to drink soup, the soupspoon is really good in holding the water within the spoon. There is no much spillage (minimal) when I feed my girl water or soup from the porridge using this spoon. Unless she fidgets of cos lah! And she suck up the water / soup very very well from the spoon. What more? She loves drinking water from this spoon =)

Moms and Dads, if you are still doubtful about this product, think and suspect no more! Juz buy them from any NTUC or Kiddy Palace! They come in a pair, the soup spoon and the feeding spoon.
