Its Weaning Time Again

We have heed Dr Ong's advise to wean Beatrice when she turns five months. So... here we go again, trying to feed her with some real food!

Beatrice loves to eat rather than to drink her milk milk. And under my observation for the past few weeks, Beatrice has been giving the "ready for mum-mum" signal everytime we have our meals in front of her. She would stick out her tongue and make the smack smack sound to indicate that she wants to eat too! I was so eager to try and wean her then but gotta really hold back and wait till she turns five ... haiz ...

Indeed, she loves the ready made Gerber puree which I had offered her. She was so happy that she clapped and laughed when the spoon was brought near her mouth! Now that she loves to eat, we can try to give her ready made cereal first before we get the herbal mix brown rice from the medical hall, which my girlfriend said was good and nutritional to babies! Beatrice love for mum-mum is really a relief to us since she doesn't like her milk milk. Mommy juz can't wait to give her more real food ... kekeke ....

Beatrice Learns to Sit

We saw baby Keegan sat in one of this seat some time ago when Karen shared his photos with us. And when we were shopping @ Great World City, we happened to saw this seat @ Mothers at Work. The product was supposedly to aid babies in learning to sit upright and it was endorsed by Orthopaedics and Paediatricians.

Since it is high time Beatrice learns to sit on her own, Larry & myself decided to get one for her. Well, the product is made of rubber and it is quite light. Beatrice really sits upright in it and she seems quite comfortable in it. However, the downside of it, is that it maybe quite “tiny” for the big bum Beatrice, cos each time Larry & myself try to pick her up from the seat, her bum-bum would get suck to the seat! This really makes our princess cries and grumbles a great deal! Anyhow, we still find that this is a good product as it helps babies to sit on their own. Oops! Forgot to mention the price. This product cost S$80.

Don’t think too much of the cost lah, juz get it first and sell it off later when your little monster knows how to get out of it …

Jurassic Fart

This is a funny cartoon! And it reminds me of the fart our little princess is prone to. Anyway, the Pd said that babies fart alot, so juz leave them alone cos it maybe the way they release wind from their tum-tum so that they will not get colics.
Fortunately for us, our baby fart is not smelly. Or else, we will ended up like the dinasaurs... kekeke ... hve fun

Its "Pong-Pong" Time

I was down with severe diahorrea on Sunday, and it must have been caused by some dirty food I had eaten :(

Well, I was too weak to shower Beatrice and was walking like a Jelly when Larry volunteered to shower her !

Wow, this will be the first time Daddy is going to bath his cupcake! Sure to be xxxciting and scary @ the same time.

It all went well when he was shampooing her hair. But as Larry lowered her to into the bath tub, Beatrice got so excited (cos she loves "pong-pong") and she started kicking the water in the tub. Larry was so scare and kept asking her to stop it, cos the soapy water was making our chub-chub girl very slippery ... hahahah ... guess Daddy has a hard time :)

Not sure if he dares to try again!

See Beatrice was happily smiling away when she was captured by her Ah-Yi, Erica, while mama bathe her! I was wondering, could it be that I was always telling her this when she was in my tum,

"Beatrice, mommy is having a shower. And this is the sound of water. Feel the water on mommy tum-tum."

well, maybe. Maybe this is why Beatrice loves to shower ... :)
