April started out with a trip to Colorado to see the Roberts family.
The kids had fun playing, decorating eggs, and going to the park.
We also celebrated Easter with an Easter egg hunt and posing in Easter dresses.
Naomi and Alana recently got a bunch of clothes from Aunt Lisa. I had to send this picture to her to show her Naomi's favorite sweater.
It's getting to that time of year when the sunsets are awesome.
Scott and Lindsay invited us to rent a theater with them to watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. My favorite of the Indiana Jones movies. Grandma K and Grandpa Bill came too. It was fun to have the whole theater to ourselves.
We started our flock of chickens again. It's nice to be able to start them out in the coop.
Alana got a part in the school musical! She is Sarabi, Simba's mom in the Lion King.
I really liked how the kids played "story tellers" instead of animals. Alana did a great job prancing around the stage and saying her lines. The parents got to go and watch a live performance. Everyone else gets to watch the recorded version. Alana got sick the week she was going to perform, but her sweet counterpart let her switch days with her. Alana was so worried she was going to miss out, so it was quite a blessing to all of us.
She had a great time and did a great job!
Finally, with all the construction we did in the yard, we have a lot of planting to do. I ordered a bunch of plants online and this is how it came. I am not sure how I prefer to buy my plants. Online I can see what they have and take my time to decide, but I have to wait till FedEx decides it is convenient to deliver them. In the store I am stressed trying to decide what to buy and am subject to what they have in stock that day, but I get them that day.
Next month, we will be doing a lot of planting!
