Ballet Recital

Naomi had a ballet recital on the 17th. They bring all the parents in to show them what they have been working on for the last few months. So they do some barre exercises and warm ups, then do a little dance to some Christmas music. Naomi did a great job!

White Christmas

Monday the 14th we had our first big snow storm of the season. It dumped a ton of snow! It was a real wet snow at first and turned into a real sticky snow. Great for making snow men. It took 20 minutes to get Naomi to school that is a block away. The snow plows were having such a hard time. It took about 24 hours for them to go down our street. There were some places in town that had to wait longer. The next day at school was a late start day. 

We had at least one broken branch in every tree. The one in the driveway just barely missed the car. 

But the kids loved every minute of it!

First Presidency Devotional

We flubbed the age restriction and Naomi and I went to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional this year. 

Naomi loved seeing all the lights. It was her first time inside the Conference Center. She loved the thought of being in the same room as President Monson. 

It was a great devotional. I loved the music. Naomi loved being there!

Christmas with Santa

We saw Santa at the ward Christmas Breakfast. The girls loved it!

Naomi told Santa she wants LOTS of books, and Alana said she wanted an Easy Bake Oven.
