This is Lisa teaching Naomi how to dance.
Alana loves to grab my pant legs and pull herself up. We were being silly with the camera which is why the pictures are upside down.
Again with the pulling up. I think she is going to walk before she crawls!

Christmas Day
This is the girls enjoying their stockings. I couldnt get a shot of Naomi's face she was too excited about what was happening on the couch.
I have decided to start a new tradition of getting a family picture in our PJs. This was interesting because Naomi would run up and hit the timer button and run back. She was having lots of fun doing that.
Then we spent some time with Grandma K and Grandpa Bill.
Then we came back to the house and spent some time with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Jamie.
By the time the day was done we were tired and spent some time at home and let the girls just play.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Random ramblings
Alana loves to "sing". She loves to sing and smile when I sing. That isnt very often. So church is fun that way. The other day she was singing and talking and I could have sworn she said mama. But I am waiting till she does it again to call it her first word. I kind of wish I had a video recorder machine thingamajig so everyone could see how adorable it is. She is getting better with her stranger danger and is getting better at letting me leave her in the room by herself. And sometimes she will even sleep for 6 hours straight! Yea! Just sometimes though.
I am finding being a mom of two kids during Christmas is hard. Is everything even, is it fair? Do they have the same amount of presents? What can I get for Alana that is the same as getting goldfish crackers for Naomi? Does it even matter? Alana is only 7 months old. She will love the paper more than anything else.
I think it is funny that the ice cream in my freezer inside is harder than the ice cream in my deep freezer outside.

Naomi has an imaginary frind. His name is Diego. He comes and goes, but most of the time they are married and happy together. Sometimes her friend Dora joins them to play.
Naomi was very generous at the funeral for Aunt Kathy. She made sure everyone on our row had a goldfish to eat during the service.
Last week was the day of nursery for Naomi. She is super excited to go to primary. She tells me she is goi g to wear her red dress, red shoes, red gloves, and red purse. Too bad she only owns a red dress and no matching accessories. The primary leaders say her class is going to be really small compared to thr rest of the primary. Only a few kids. I think she will love it.

7 months
The customary tattoo from Lisa. We kept it on till after church. It was a big hit!
Playing during breakfast.
Pants on the head.
Alana is now 7 months old!
She is a pro at sitting up. You can tell when she loves something because she rocks back and forth and does a head bang. She loves to hang upside down. She know how to put her binky in her mouth but she hasn't quite figured out how to do that for food.
Naomi loves to make her giggle. Usually her physical comedy routine gets a good laugh out of Alana.
