Kiddie Lit...................

Well this is my page for Kiddie Lit . This month's inspiration comes from the children's book 'Charlottes Web'. I chose to scrap about the friendship between my son and daughter. I have also chosen the paper which reminds me when the baby spiders fly away on their cobweb parachutes it reminds me of the dandelion flowers which you blow. Childhood memories! ;o)


Unfortunately there is lack of participation for the blog, so I am shouting it out to everyone to have a look and have a go at their challenges. It is a great inspirational blog and if you love your children's books, you will also love the blog.

This is what has distracted me...................

This is Kobi!
Well it's for Kobi who is now almost 5 months old.
They're owls if you couldn't work it out.
And the other one I made for Tana when she was born.

So I've got the sewing bug at the moment.

Maybe it's a good time for me to finish one of the two quilts I started years ago and haven't touched for a while!! Might be a plan. ;o)

I really want to start making Tana some dresses. I sewed alot of Lachie's clothes when he was little, so I want to do some things for Tana.

And with Tana being a girl, all the fun things to make for her dolls!! Although she does only have 2 'my 1st doll' (which are all cloth and soft) and she is not real sure of what she is meant to do with them, I guess I could start making some things.

I did get my sleep in this morning as I got to scrap last night. But only did one layout!!!

The ideas just weren't coming to me and boy is that frustrating!!

That's been 3 posts!!.......

Yes, I've just done 3 posts to my blog with all the layouts I've been working on lately, a few I can't show you yet, but that's why I haven't updated here for a week or so.

I'm so excited about something happening shortly and what I did for it I am really happy with. I loooove it!!! You will see soon.

I haven't been playing amongst the challenge blogs as I am trying to do all my DT requirements. Only 1 to go for this month and I'm done and I can play!!!

I didn't scrap much over the past few weeks with both my kids birthdays, a day after the other, and all the planning that goes with it. I just didn't have time.
But it was a great weekend with the parties and both were spoilt rotten!!!

And now I have an Aunty down from Toowoomba who leaves tomorrow, so I am off to visit her again before she goes back.
Maybe I might get a chance to scrap tonight. Fingers crossed!
My scrap night is normally Friday nights and DH gets up to Tana Saturday mornings so I can sleep in. But we've swapped this weekend. So I will try and scrap tonight and enjoy my sleep in tomorrow.
