What bwings us togevah today...
I was blessed today to be able to attend the sealing of a friend of mine from Temple Square. And you know what? It was beautiful. I found myself wondering why no one ever told me how wonderful temple sealings are. And then I remembered that they have been telling me that for as long as I remember. But today I finally got it. The Spirit is the best teacher. And I love how spiritual experiences leave you feeling so refreshed and wanting to be better. On Sunday, our sacrament meeting was dedicated to the topic of marriage but it left me feeling more annoyed than anything. I did get a bit from what the bishop said at the end of the meeting, but it was unrelated to marriage. Oh well.

I also had a conversation about marriage with Seth last month. It started with me picking him up so that he could triumphantly tell me that he was "taller" than I am. I replied that I didn't think so, but that he probably will end up taller than I am (since both of his parents are). He considered this for a moment, then logically concluded that this height correlation is the reason that I am not a mom.

Again, I politely disagreed, suggesting that I am actually not a mom because I am not married, and not because I am lacking in height.

His follow-up question: "When are you going to get married?"

"When I find someone who wants to marry me?" I offered.

"How are you going to do THAT?" he demanded, as if that were the trickiest thing in the world.

I didn't have a good answer for him.

My camera's battery was pretty low at the temple this morning, so I only got one picture, but look how adorable these two are:

Seriously. Jessica is one classy lady. Everyone was raving about that dress.
