Got to the Bottom of It

A while ago I told Sadie that Uncle Shaun had a new girlfriend. She didn't like the idea. In fact she insisted that it could not be so.
From that time she has not been ok with the concept.
Today I was talking about it again with the girls. Sadie said, "Uncle Shaun CAN NOT HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!"
I asked her why she felt that way.
She said, "That is just yucky that a girl would kiss him. He's a boy!"

And they are ooey, and they are gooey, and they are dripping with cheese. Eewwww.

Someone tell me why I keep signing up to do things for the PTO, please? (That is PTA to normal people.)
I don't know what comes over me when they start passing around those sign up sheets.
I suddenly picture myself standing next to the flag pole in a unitard and a cape. That in itself should just make me shudder and crawl in to a hole, but no!
Where do I sign? Don't I have the prettiest signature? Is there somewhere else I could put it? Don't you want to see it again?
I am a dipwad.

What to do? What to do?

I recently decided to ask Amy for a suggestion or two for a date i had planned. I went something like this: Shaun - " I don't know what to do. Any ideas?" Amy - " Do you have a Wi? You guys could play with that!" Shaun - " I do have one of those. I'm a bit surprised at the suggestion, but I think we have a winner. We will play with my Wi." Lesson learned - Amy sometimes has unexpected and inappropriate but great suggestions.
