Our weekend was quite the weekend, Patrick and I went to Utah again so he could meet up with his recruiter for some final paper work! while we were down there we thought we would go look at the lights on temple square and thanksgiving point.
Half way to Utah Patrick decided to get my flu bug that I had that monday, (thank goodness it's only a 24 hour flu!) anyways so if there was a restroom we were there for 15 to 20 min. We Finaly get to Hill air force base the roads were awful and man did it ever SNOW... and patrick ended up in the restroom (poor guy) after a while he came out and layed on the floor, (luckily we were the only ones there!) The recruiter felt way sorry for him and bought him a cola to sip on and called in and put us in a room on the base! They were way nice rooms for $30.00 dollars a night. Patrick and I slept for 3 hrs and by then I was starving so we went to Dominos Pizza, he didnt eat that night. We went back to our room and watched TV and Patrick started filling a little better so we thought, were down here lets at least brave the weather and see the lights on temple square, so we went!

The Eve, of All Hallow's Eve...
On Thursday after work we went to the Straw maze and had a blast getting lost inside the two set high one ton bales of straw. We tried to scare even the people who were in there to scare the people. We some times got seperated and had to look for a while to find each other.
When we got home we got out our carving utensils and went to town. Patrick as usual I make him do the larger of the pumpkins that his mom grows because it's too much work to clean them out. I took the smaller of the pumpkins.

Patrick showing off his "skills!"

mmmmmmmmm guts...

What a stud!

Enlistment Day...
Well We went down on friday afternoon to Ogden and Signed my last enlistment papers at the base. Next we went to Salt Lake to the E center(delta center), for my Enlistment Ceremony, which was at the Reba Macentire, and Kelly Clarkson concert. It was neat we got to meet Kelly and Reba, I got Kelly's autograph, Reba lost her pen when I went to get her's. It was wierd Reba is an Inch taller than me, and I'm 5'10'', And kelly was about Kristan's height. Also we got pictures with them and the other 13 enlistees and our Recruiters. I don't get the photos back for till the military develops them. Also we got the meet the blonde comedian lady from the Reba show. She was pretty funny talking about how she could get one of our shirts but with out having to sign up. The show was fun I don't know how many drunk hicks we saw that night but there was alot. One couple just down the aisle from us were all dancing in front of everybody groping each other. We were close to the stage only about 100 ft. away maybe. We decided thought that the next concert we go to were taking ear plugs.

The Red Circle is Me, and The blue Circle is Tech. Sergeant Dan Nichiporuk my Recuiter.

The 14 of us who enlisted with all the recuiters and the Colonel in the middle.

That blonde lady from the Reba show can't remember her name thought.

Well here we go! Crossing into the Blue...

I think it's close enough to tell everyone. Patrick has been in discussion with the Air Force Recuiter for the past 4 months and we are only waiting on the final enlistment ceremony on Oct. 10th. So yes you probable guessed Patrick is enlisting in the Air Force Reserve, he will become what is called a financial controller, basically an Air Force Accountant. He leaves me on January 13th to go to San Antonio Texas for Basic training. He will then be off to Keesler AFB in Missouri for Tech school for 9 weeks. From there he will go once a month to Ogden's Hill AFB to catch a c-17 to fly to Tacoma Washington to Mchord AFB where he will do his job. Like I said though were just waiting on the enlistment ceremony on oct. 10th, which supposedly is going to happen as a mass enlistment at the Reba Mcentire and Kelly Clarkson on stage. So yeah we're excited, plus the benefits are awesome.

Eastern Idaho State Fair...
Patrick & I made it to the fair this year, our first time ever together! We had a blast but way to many people for me, maybe we'll attend in another 5 years.
When we came home my mother-in-law has this way awesome plant, it is a syscerous this plant only blooms like every 2-3 years and only at night.
This syscerous had the most extreme smell ever, but it wasn't a bad smell!
Every time you looked at this flower it would get bigger.
There were two blosomes on the plant and look how big it is compared to Patricks hand. I think it was 10 inches wide.
By morning the flower was all closed up and shriveled, droopy looking. It is amazing to watch something so beautiful turn so ugly so fast!
