i feel tired. cant wait for the nov-dec holiday. (: but meanwhile there's another thing to look forward to: syf!

grace and i went for Fusion 07 on sat. and then somehow we ended up sitting right in the middle of some church's youth group haha. after it ended this really weird guy was like "hey dont go yet stay for the group picture!" err. im not even from your church byebye! hahahah if you'd seen his face you'd have died laughing.

but for the record, i tried parasailing(: on my birthday. i knew i'd regret not trying it if i didnt. so i did. and it was really very fun.


hahah thats me. unfortunately i think i was too light so the guy had to do with me. were they afraid of people being blown away? he was climbing on the ropes without a harness or life jacket. gosh.

deborah came over to paint our game banner for the christmas carnival and buy..stuff. & I FINALLY GOT MY PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN:THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL vcd hahah that was released like 2 years ago right? ohwell. errrr.then later we rushed to church! haha we took bus and mrt and cab.
Candycandycandy. thats our sweet-heart! ok.lame.

tuesday, which is today which is 121206
13 days to christmas! and i wont be spending my birthday in singapore this year so thats quite sad but whatever. went to vivocity with seeyue today haha we met at 9 something! and ofcourse the shops werent open when we reached there la. so we started shopping for christmas presents when they did. and surprisingly it was quite productive.that sounds a bit wrong. anyw seeyue and i are officially broke. like 5 cents left kinda thing? hahahaha thats our dearest seeyue. at least she got a pair of jeans excluding the presents. i had so little left that i couldnt afford the national treasure vcd): and im still regretting this and that.sigh. hmm so altogether we went from vivo to harbourfront centre and vice versa 5 times. tiring!
seeyue is such a kind heart she gave up her seat for a cute old(fine,elderly) woman on the bus lol. yes,so it was a long ride home. there was a japanese boy who was walking infront of me like outside the Sterling then when i looked up from messaging he disappeared.poof.
into thin air. okay fineee my imagination. gah.
CONGRATS to elvin ng for winning an award lol:D im soooo happy for him haha. although i didnt watch the award show. but nevermind. i wanna sleep. goodnight mr tom.

okay, so the last dance practice of the year is over. miss wee wasnt as fierce as she looked,shes actually very funny. anyw zaki has cheorographed like around 10 eights only. and its already so tiring! cant imagine doing the whole dance in a few months. i badly need to go to the gym.regularly. to build up my (almost-not-there)stamina): sometimes i wish i wasnt anaemic but then again i wouldnt wanna take napfa tests. gah whatever la its something i cant really change even if i wanted to,right?

shannen's sleepover
hmm. sunday morning- first time at a methodist church service! thats if i dont count the whatever school stuff,but yes. wesley is quite different but i kinda liked it there.
we had lunch at the swensons in orchard then walked around for a while and left at like 2.45 cos jeremy had badminton training. so we went to marina square to shop! and we saw carisser there. after that her dad fetched us and we were off to the Zara at great world city. then finally headed home,fine shannen's home. we ate pizza for dinner,watched johnny english,and played with candy! OMGOMG candy's extremely cutee. she's only 3 months old and she runs about on her cute lil legs.she makes me want a puppy too): i shall steal her from shannen muahahaHAHA. so then we chatted and zzz (:

monday was more shopping! we hopped off the bus at far east plaza and walked all the way to centre point,ofcourse dropping by all the shopping centres on the way. that like walking from one end of orchard to the other and so yes my poor feet were sore. but ohwell.after being cooped up at home for decades bored to death i'd give anything to spend a day out:D
unfortunately though i had piano in the late afternoon so i bade orchard and shannen goodbye. and candy. and the 2 rabbits-what were their names again?- and the catfish and the small fishes and ruffles! he keeps barking at me.haha well. shannen treated me to wonderful watermelon sorbet from haato downstairs.
then i was so tired i almost fell asleep at the piano.
anyw thats all thanks again shannen for everything<3

YESTERDAY after piano we went to watch singapore dreaming- with the other mg teachers. and their families. /:< anyw its so darn weird, sitting among all your past and present teachers and also those who never taught you but you know you know. i mean how often do you see 1 teacher in the cinemas talk about that many. hmm i saw mr low and his fiancee, ms yeo and her sister-they look so alike, mrs sim mrs yap ms soh and their families..the list goes on. mg booked the whole theatre. and at the end of the movie the director and 2 cast members who were sitting in the front row spoke to us. the actress was from mg haha. she asked where her teachers were. btw i really couldnt stand her character so annoying and like fragile? oh and apparently there was also another actress in the movie from mg but she didnt come. ohwell.

hey melissa just so you know i saw ms lim there too(: she was wearing hotpink see i told you everyone simply adores pink :D

so tmr's the minifair and sec 3 subject selection thing. and i dont even know whether to take lit elective or history. bleargghhhh. i wont have enough brain space for history already,but my lit analytical skills are like zero. so i shall blog again when i choose whatever i chose.

omg EXAMS ARE OVERRRRRRR! :D

though i screwed like ..every subject. i was counting and i realised it included everything. some arent as very screwed as the others but still not good. and now im hoping hard that they misplace my paper or it accidentally caught fire so i wouldnt have to get it back. so much for aiming >70% overall. blearrgh.

ANYW! today and fri we stay at home(: im loving this post-exam life veryvery much. like yesterday after the class party thing after the art exam i sat on the couch and watched she's the man and memoirs of a geisha. alone. haha a pretty sad celebration according to serene but who cares i've a whole list of things to do after the exams. i bet my eyesight is worsening too since im spending so much time with mr teevee and his close relative ms computer. OHWELL.

today during music we watched the joseph and the techni-coloured coat musical. JOSEPH WAS SO FUNNY omg. he has like quite long bushy darkbrown hair with a centre parting and he always wears white. at first i thought the first song was too familiar but april didnt know it so yeah maybe its me again. BUTTT it was so super familiar cos in st james our K2 concert at the end of the year was abt THIS WHOLE JOSEPH THING. they took some songs from that musical. vicky and i were like ST JAMES ST JAMES hahahaha those memories.
hey i still have my egyptian costume:D just that its like really tiny.
i rmb our jacob was this poor boy who had to wear some cotton wool clump as a beard. i cant rmb his name:/ anyw. my gosh imagine saying your lines halfway then cottonwool gets in your mouth or something. ew. OH! i rmb the boy who played joseph, he's called gabriel i think. he was the smallest boy and looked so miserable in the so-called prison.
i really miss my kindergarten days. especially playing with jiayi benjamin(ahaha) trevor(?) and... some other boy with a chinese name. there's some other people im sure i just cant rmb. sigh sad huh. and isnt it funny i kinda just realised during a game of truth or dare in class that vicky actually crushed on the same boy. and we only find out like, 8 years later. yay 14-6=8. i can do math okaye.

PRESIDENT'S STAR CHARITY 2006

thats one thing i'll rmb forever. sounds cliched but really(:
its so different actually sitting down there. mann i love that place.
i'd have to admit that although the performances were great the post-show cocktail reception was the most FABULOUS. hahaha im not usually a crazy psyched up fan but there and then its hard to stay that way:D and it wasnt the food that was good. i only tried the punch anyw. it was err something else gosh i cant believe myself

THE MUSICAL WAS SO FUN:DDD

its been 1 whole week since our last performance and i miss it so bad.
this time last week we were touching up our gothic make-up for the 9pm show. SIGH.

i'll miss getting up at 11am
i'll miss doing e-learning homework from 1130- 230
i'll miss having bad time management and gulping down lunch
i'll miss walking to school in the hot sun and getting a stitch
i'll miss reaching school 5 minutes before 3pm and regretting that i didnt take my time to walk
i'll miss that very spot in the dance studio(our dressing/holding room) under the bar where diane nat cheryl and i put our bags against the mirror and hung our costumes
i'll miss diane back-combing my hair for me and piling on LOTS of gel, hair spray and coloured(red, blue, or orange) hair spray(:
i'll miss remembering to put on every single one of my ching-chang accessories
i'll miss lining up at the end of the SUPER long queue for make-up
i'll miss putting on really thick gothic black/dark blue eyeshadow and getting curly whirly patterns drawn on my face
i'll miss shivering under the aircon with cheryl keep saying it isnt cold
i'll miss having that (disgusting) dinner, seeing diane break her plastic spoon everytime, and us trying our best not to get the dark coloured lipstick on our food or in our mouths.
i'll miss rushing to the audi and being late and getting scolded by whoever
i'll miss complaining about silly warm-ups
i'll miss getting all pumped up for the performance
i'll miss waiting patiently or not so patiently in the "clock tower" in the dark with the rest
i'll miss taking the lift up 1 storey to see the 300+ audience in the basketball court and get nervousy
i'll miss diane poking the cup containing the mixture of red dye and honey and water(that jesus spreads on his clothe for golgotha) right infront of the DO NOT TOUCH sign :D
i'll miss getting the stand-by call and still having to wait for so long, frozen still
i'll miss being on the floor like the rest, hearing the footsteps of the audience coming up the few steps to the concourse i mean brimstone and hearing Eve talking and my heart pounding
i'll miss hearing the eerie music and actually dancing to it
i'll miss having the audience stare at you like youre a monster with 3 heads and having to glare back at them intimidatingly and flashing a seductive smile
i'll miss screaming my lungs out when sodom is finally destroyed and the red lights start flashing and the weird music starts playing, and crawling after ppl tryinna scare them and show them why God had to destroy sodom
i'll miss resetting that scene for the second route and hearing the serpent praise us eville ppl
i'll miss doing the same thing all over again it isnt boring at all
i'll miss going back to the dance studio sweating so much after the lots wife scene is over
i'll miss preparing for the roman soldier dance, wiping off the nice designs on my face, stuffing myextremely puffed up hair into the stupid beret and wearing the eeky green uniform
i'll miss eating lotsa snacks and taking photos while waiting for our next scene (lil less than 1 hour)
i'll miss the constant chatter in our beloved dance studio
i'll miss being called PENGY by joan cos to her i looked like a penguin in the dark when my eyeballs were "very light blue and dark brown"
i'll miss us making our way to the quadrangle and standing there tryinna be frozen stiff, but getting scolded later for figeting
i'll miss waiting and waiting there for TWO whole scenes to finish (still standing still) and finally only being rewarded by the BLINDING white light that shines straight into your eyeballs fyi we werent allowed to blink at all
i'll miss hearing the passage to hell music played on the violins so freaky and seeing the audience gather from the corner of my eye after a super long time (melissa says mary mag takes 3 seconds to come down one step. and it was 3 storeys)
i'll miss hearing the same old lines of mary and getting them memorised unintentionally
i'll miss listening to the first part of the piece, the GONG GONG GONG part
i'll miss having to wiggle my toes a lil incase i faint haha and hearing the last few notes before the first move
i'll miss dancing if you can call it that with a permanant 'i hate you' expression and trying to keep that look throughout
i'll miss doing the formations still tryinna keep the fierce look and watching the cross being carried down then Jesus stumbling out
i'll miss watching the weeping women slowly appear from all corners of the quadrangle and sing tell me Jesus why You must die so beautifully that you feel like tearing already but roman soldiers arent so i couldnt
i'll miss hearing the same lines of argument between modern Eve and the serpent
i'll miss running to the next position and watching Jesus' painful steps all the way to calvary
i'll miss the scene in the bamboo courtyard which i never ever got to see but i heard its about the crucifixion
i'll miss dashing back to the dance studio once again but this time to change back into our lots wife costumesfor THE finale and ofcourse putting back all the ching-chang accessories on again and adding eyeliner and lipstick and re-fluffing my hair
i'll miss walking in the pitch dark back to our standby postitions for finale and sitting on that concrete thing with sharona!:D chitchat for a while and play with her happy yellow scarf
i'll miss climbing on that whole wall thing and then hopping off at the end causing my poor feet to hurt so bad. for a few seconds(:
i'll miss hearing the last few words of the first verse of MY REDEEMER LIVES and scurrying to form the queue to get ready to go out at the chorus
i'll miss singing all the finale songs and clapping and swaying(i cant sway naturally for nuts. twice i swayed the wrong direction from the WHOLE entire cast):)
i'll miss bowing three times at the end and suddenly getting so darnnn HIGH
i'll miss hooking arms with joan/meibin/diane at the bamboo courtyard then SKIP HOP SKIP HOPPING all the way back to the audi:D (on the 630 show of the last day[29th] i was skipping back with diane[DIE-ant] then it was raining earlier so the floor outside the home econs kitchens were puddly and slippery and wet AND we were so oblivious to everything that i slipped and ended up sitting on the puddle like EEEWWWW hahaha half the back of my skirt was wet luckily it dried fast there was still the 9pm show to go and it was black.)
i'll miss having only ONE minute to linger and mix with the audience at the concourse at the end
i'll miss returning to the dance studio to re-draw all the designs on our faces before the next show it was always such a darn rush
i'll miss visiting the purple toilet near the bbcourt and saying hi to melissa the PINK usher. theres no one in the world who loves pink more than her i tell you hahaha fine more like hate:D
i'll miss THE WHOLE MUSICAL, the late practices that end at 11 pm, the complaining, the laughter, the fun, the indifferent audience, the frightened audience, the talkative audience, argh just EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE who had anything to do with the musical. we made history in mgs!:DD

FOUNDERS DAY!
this morning i forgot to bring joy's gb shoes. boots. whatever. i only remembered at like 15 minutes before their meeting time. luckily she did get her shoes back at 7 20. just trust me to remember a lil something. urgh.
founders day service was okay. same thing for 8 years, it gets a bit boring after a while. we had to watch from the screen in LT 1. so i fell asleep at the giving away of certificates part. so long la. i rmb last year i saw adora receiving hers.

ANYW when i returned from piano, serene was already half ready for founders day dinner. its at swissotel the stamford raffles ballroom! so exciting. hahaha. i did her make-up for her:D its so fun doing ppl's makeup(:

hm. i still havent got to watch pirates of the carribean. nowadays we eat sleep and breathe the musical. tmr's an e-learning day! but theres a run at 3. to TEN. i hope i dont end up sleeping til noon ahaha. then i wont have time to start on my online homework and blah):<>

FRIDAY WAS SUPER FUN

oh! before i start rattling off. ystd the 21st was emily's birthday.

okay. we had 2 runs on fri(: and the lots wife dancers had to meet at like 3. which was just half an hour after school quite rush actually. yeah to put on gothic makeup and do our hair. i like our hairstyles its so cool hahaha. and we still didnt have enough time): ohwell almost everyone was a lil late. dinner was errr. nvmd i shant comment.

mhm. the sodom and gomorrah dance was as usual darn fun:D we did it 4 times ystd night.
serene designed the sign which read Brimstone, the name of "our club".(:

while waiting in the clock tower before standby it was so dark cos the lights had to be turned off. and diane and i kept repeating joyful joyful we aDORE THEE. its just so funny cos as it seems, no one know what the next line is. her eyelids fly open at DORE THEE. hahahaha:D oh the lift door opened once, with a group of workers and they just stared and stared at us then discussed something among themselves and closed the lift door to probably exited by another staircase. i think the teachers did a pretty good job with the make up especially our eyes, its kinda freaky you know. omg i just LOVE that dance(:

the roman soldier thing was okay i guess. just that i havent got the gb shoes/boots yet. urgh worse comes to worse they said just tape your school shoes up in black tape like how pathetic la but i shant say anything now just incase i'll need to do that. grr):

ohya ystd was the first round with the new speakers omgomg they were SOOO loud. you can feel your intestines shaking veins throbbing and heart pounding. well fine harder than usual since your heart always pounds. pumps. whatever.(:

the next run would we'd already have an AUDIENCE. an audience of around 300. gosh so nervousing. cause every run the most of an audience we had was like 5? excluding the ushers that is. melissa is gonna usher! toot. :/

OH YAYYY joy justsaid she could lend me her gb shoes!:D ahhahaha(: FINALLY. i was like one of the 2-3 who didnt have. OKAY im happy.(:

later i'll have to be in school at 4.30 for the OPENING CEREMONY. i spend more time in school than at home i tell you. seriously. like it ended at 11pm ystd and today go back again. not to mention next week there's rehearsals on sun wed thurs fri sat. fine so thurs fri and sat are not counted cos theyre the actual performance(: argh sunday have to go there right after lunch right after service. tuesday is MGS' 119th FOUNDERS DAY! ithink. hm tsk im not even sure of the year. heehee (:
