how was your weekend so far?

i got wrecked last night. lol

let's just leave it as that. 

recent projects ive been involved in:

 

behold, viva.

a new club weekly event that is brought up by a few production companies

here in melbourne..

one of which im involved with and is a new promoter for them :)

grand opening is tomorrow night so wish me luck and hopefully the turn out is good.

i need the extra cash anyway.

and this:

been hanging out alot with the collektive which are Australia's Hip Hop Champions for 2011

thanks to nam! 

and ive been helping the director of the crew video his classes outside and stuff

and been doing some editing which gives me a great reason to learn how 

to use after effects! 

till then.. ive been using Imovie which isnt all that great but definitely wanting to learn 

how to do video editing!

the last of my 3 final assignments which was the first to be handed in.

Brief: to create  a 12 page magazine spread which incorporated a front cover,introduction page, a main article, statistics, an ad and a manifesto.
the main objective or aim about this assignment was to learn about the usage of grids in a spread.

and that's bout it as far as assignment goes!

Another one of my 3 major assignments was to create a type sampler which shows how we execute basic foldings to reveal information based on the font we chose.
and we had to choose only 2 colours. and learn bout spot colours and what not.

I chose the font OCR A STD

and my type sampler, looks abit like this..

 and pull the other ends and get that

so just to update you all with something i've been working on in uni.. this was one of my final 3 assignments I had to do before my year was over. This was to focus more on branding identity.

Brief: We had to choose a subculture, create 3 logos (a pictogram,a photoimage and a logotype) that would suit and represent the subculture you decided to do. And then create a packaging design which has two of your logos(one of which had to be your logotype) on your design that is meant to keep 50 cards inside.

so for my subculture, I chose DIP DYEING of the hair.. and this was what I did

 

Hoping to god that I get a good grade from this..Considering how much i kept changing it and the amount of times i went to consult with my lecturer so *cross fingers* i do really well! 

been getting my HD's for this studio so i hope I get another one!

things are looking better.. but if there's something that i've learnt these past few days..

“at the end of the day, who you have left standing next to you despite it all is all you have and can trust.Even if that person happens to be yourself. You realize that sometimes even the most meaningful person to you might not put you the same way in their life as you do with them in yours. to top everything i've been going through..

i've lost the two most important guy friends that mean the world to me and they
dont evern know how much it kills me.

if i have to lose who my heart wants for the two friends that my heart needs, then i'd do it in a heartbeat.

you know when they say,
distance makes the heart grow fonder?

my heart has grown so much fonder of you.
i just hate how complicated things are right now.
but friday was probably the best night yet.

cause all i remember now are cuddles and the smell of your versace cologne that i look out for now.

 

 

 

so i did a photoshoot for my friend dania for her assignment.

she does photography at RMIT. 

this set was about portraying a story just using light?

and i was a patient at a mental institute.

how freaky do i look?! ahhaha

you cant really see my makeup here, but it was a rather bruised look.

shots mainly taken over Raya here in melbourne, leenna's visit and sissy's last few days here in melbourne.

a few shots didnt turn out so well cause i thought there was something wrong with my camera but turns out it was actually a battery problem so in other words i wasted 5 shots. ahahha

but yeah, hope you like it :)

im thinking of doing some coloured photos next.
