Hatch Family Joins the Blogging World!!

This is really exciting news!! At the beginning of a new year, the Hatch's have decided to become part of the blogging world!! (And when I say the Hatch's, we all know I mean ME (emilee).



So................................Welcome to our Blogspot!!!!..................................



2008 was really great to our little family. We are living in Winnemucca, Nevada. Boyd is still working for the Forest Service, and we moved out the beginning of 2007. We bought a little home out in the boondocks, on a little patch of ground (5 acres) and set up camp.

Our little family is steadily increasing the longer we live out there. We are now a family of:



2 kids (Hadley, age 4 1/2, and Tanner, age 20 months.),

2 dogs (Purdy & Heffer),

3 horses (Ned, Shirlene, and Black Beauty),

4 Cats (Baby, Baby II, Kyler, & Trey),

19 Hens (Only one has been named, Barbara)

and of course the token rooster (Ken).



I am quite sure the Lord has a sense of humor. I Never, Never, Never thought I would marry a farmer, much less be one!! And I am pretty sure that Boyd never thought he'd marry someone with severe allergies to hay horses and hard work!!



But I guess the Lord knows us better than we know ourselves, because life has a way of giving you just what you never knew you always wanted!! Life on the "farm" is lots of fun. The kids love helping with the chickens, Hadley's job is to let them know that if they don't start laying eggs, they are going to be chicken noodle soup!! Tanner loves to feed the chickens and gather eggs.
