St Patty's Day

We did the regular stuff to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

We started off the morning with our
Green Pancakes
Green Hash Browns
Green Eggs
and of course
Green Milk
Fallowed by a

for Dad, whom never did put on Green at all

We also made some
Green cookies
with
Green Frosting
Burner just ate the frosting with a spoon.

Helping Mommy Cook

I don't know why, but for some reason my boys LOVE to help me cook.

Gymnastics vs. Karate

We have wanted to put Bop in Karate for a while now,
I had been told by another mother that when he turned 4 he would be old enough.
When he turned 4 we went to a local gym to check it out and found out he needed to be 6.
We still wanted to sign him up for an activity so we picked Gymnastics
He was supposed to go for the first time last week,
but he was sick, so today was his first day.
He really enjoyed it and his teacher said he did good.


Burner even got in on the action and went and played on the equipment.

Playing in the Cold

Yesterday was pretty warm.
We were able to go outside to play and ride bikes a little with our friend Taylor
While we were outside I thought to myself, maybe the weather is starting to get warmer finally, ya! This thought was immediately fallowed by another more pessimistic thought, don't get your hopes up. It will be cold tomorrow. :(

Sure enough it was cold,
but we put on our jackets and hats, went to the park and...

Burner still liked giving the pole kisses...

Bop still enjoyed the tire swing...

and Mom was just happy that the boys were happy.

Coloring on my iPod

Any one who knows me, knows there is one thing I always have with me...





My iPod Touch. I love this thing. I use it all day, everyday. But lately I have had to compete with my two boys to use it. They love to use an App I have called "Scribble". It is what it sounds like. You draw picture on it using your finger. Here are some of the masterpieces that have been created.

Count Down To...

The other day Bop informed me that we needed to make a countdown chain.

Now I am sure you have all made a countdown chain
like this one for Christmas

But Christmas is to far away.

Maybe he wants to make one to

Grandma and Grandpa Far Away (Dad's Parents) come to visit.
He has a little over 2 weeks left.
He talks about it everyday.

of what he is going to do with them.
Everything from Geo Track Trains to where they will sleep.

What time is it?

All right I want the truth here.
How many of you were late for,
Church,
a Meeting ,
or Work
today, because you forgot about
Day light savings?
I will tell you all the truth. I wasn't late because I forgot...

I was late because I didn't know.

I found out when I turned on my iPod to play a quick game of "Lock n' Roll" and realized that church started in 20 minutes, not an hour and 20 minutes. Good thing the iPod updates itself!

To sick for the new

I have been so excited all week long for Friday.
Bop was supposed to start something new today.
I had planed to take pictures of his new adventure and put them on the blog and tell you all about it. Instead you get this picture because...
we are all to sick to do anything today. That means Bop had to miss his first day. :(
We all have the flu, except Dad who had it last week. :(
Hopefully next Friday he will be able to go and you will all get to see some pictures of it.

Everything in my house is Orange

Bop has turned everything Orange.

We have a new phenomenon at Our House, we are calling it
"The Orange Factor"
after this little guy here.

He is my nephew, and his nickname is Orange Lemon (click here for his blog). So what is this strange phenomenon? How has Bop turned everything Orange? Here is a few examples how...

I tell Bop, " You are so silly" Bop replies " I am not silly, Orange is silly".
I ask Bop, " Do you need to go potty before we leave?" Bop replies," I don't need to go potty, Orange needs to go potty."
At bed time. I tell Bop he needs to go to bed, he tells me "Orange needs to go to bed"
He always fallow his statements with a rolling belly laugh.

I am sure you have the point.

Bop has some how made Orange a part of our everyday life.

Everything we do, he also does. Everything we can't do, Orange does. Everything Bop doesn't want to do, Orange does. That Orange is one amazing kid.

Random Vacation Pics

I just thought this picture was cool. This is my older sister's Husband and Daughter. (Her Daughter is 9 months old)

Here is a pic of us going out to dinner for my little sisters, guy that she is exclusively dating but they don't call each other boyfriend and girlfriend because they are weird boyfriend's birthday. Did you get all that?

Making Cookie's with Mema

The boy's love to bake. I think they love it so much because they get to eat it when they are done. When Mema (Mom's Mom) asked them one morning if they wanted to help her make cookies they were so excited. Bop was to excited to even change out of his PJ's to do it!
The best part of cookies, is decorating them!


Burner chose to use his treats like french fries and the frosting like ketchup. He just kept dipping them and eating them.
Even though he is my nephew and not my son, I loved this picture so I had to add it. My sisters son put about an inch of frosting and another inch of sprinkles on his cookie. You can't even see the cookie anymore!
