5 Months

  • Ryann has finally started rolling on her own. She rolls belly to back, but not back to belly quiet yet
  • She is also such a mommy's girl. It makes it hard to do things sometimes because she always wants mommy. people say that I just need to let her cry when other people have her, but who wants to hold a crying baby??? I know I don't! Or they say that we need to leave her with other people more, but I feel guilty I am a stay at home mom it's my job to take care of my baby plus Ryann will not take a bottle so it makes it kind of hard to leave her.
  • She is becoming a little more independant now that she is more curious about toys. She can hold and grab them as well
  • We took Ryann to Bear Lake this month and she sat in her bumbo (which she loves) right by the shore and would laugh everytime the waves would crash up on her. The water was a little cold, but she didn't seem to mind it too much once she got use to the water. She got sick while we were there. I have never seen so many boogers in all my life, but for being so sick she sure was a happy baby. She loved the boat rides too it would put her right to sleep, but she didn't love her life jacket so much!
  • She hates riding in the car at night, but doesn't mind it too much during the day. She cried and wanted to be held the whole way down to bear lake, but on the way home it was day time and she was pretty content they whole way home. She just needed a full belly and a toy to intertain her
  • Ryann still gets a kick out of Lucy. Teasing that dog never gets old!!

4th and 24th of July

4th of July:

For the 4th of July this year we went camping and believe it or not I was a little bit sad about missing the parade, so Margo got everyone together and we made our own parade. It was pretty cute!! Ryann missed the whole thing sleeping, but that was the first time she had really gotton to take a nap the whole time we were camping. She seemed to be pretty fussy. We also went 3-wheeling and Megan got a 50 dollar ticket, and we went boating although I wasn't really up for boating since I just had my gallbladdar taken out, and we played some cards and horseshoes. It was pretty fun, but I was missing my bed and bathroom, so I wasn't really the best company to be around, but I wasn't the only one...We got home just in time for some fireworks, but again Ryann missed all the festivities. Bryce and I went on top of the roof. Although Herriman City doesn't do a firework show, it seemed like everyone else in the city did their own fireworks, and we had the best seat in town! Everywhere you looked there were fireworks. Along with dogs barking cop sirens.

24th of July:
Ryann got to go to her first parade, but by the time it started she fell asleep...again. We then went to grandma Margo's house and we played some croquet. I was in last place the whole time, but I ended up winning the whole thing. I am not sure how that worked out, but winning is always a good time.

Do you sit by a pool?

                                                     (Ryann loves the water)

Is that what you do? So do we!!
