I really wanted to go out of the country for our honeymoon, so we thought Mexico would be fun, and not too expensive, plus Bryce speaks Spanish so we wouldn’t have to worry about the language barrier. My mom has a time share with the Hilton Resort so we stayed in the Fiesta Americana. Are plane left at 5:00 am so we had to be up and ready at 3.

We had a connecting plane to Cabo from California, but we were stuck in the airport for 2 hours. So Bryce and I found a nice quiet spot with an outlet and we watched American Outlaws. I found two benches, so I moved them together so we could lay down together, Bryce was so embarrassed!

We were told before hand that they would have people to take us to our hotel, so that we shouldn’t go with anyone else or they would charge us a lot of money. So when we got there we waited and waited and waited, but no one from our hotel came. Bryce was getting really nervous, so finally we decided to get on another bus, they of coarse said that they could take us there, we were driving for about a ½ hour and Bryce was panicking I am too naive to worry about stuff like that so I just enjoyed the ride. Speaking of being Naive. I thought Mexico would be a little more rough looking, but I didn't think that it looked too much worse than some parts of Salt Lake City, or midvale.

First they dropped us off at a liquor store, and after that we wondered onto a dirt road. I tried to ask Bryce some questions to keep him calm, but by now he was really freaking out. He looked at me and said I CAN’T TALK RIGHT NOW! But we finally got there and it was beautiful!!! The people there greeted us with some wet towels. Bryce I looked at each other not quite sure what to do with them, but took them anyway and thanked the people there. Fist we signed up to take a tour of the place, so we could have a free breakfast, next we went to our room, relaxed a little bit and then got ready for dinner.

This is a view of the entire hotel. We stayed in the place on the left.

Our hotel was so big that they had to take us to our room on a golf cart. Our driver tried to teach me our room number in Spanish, but I forgot it everytime. It confused them that Bryce knew Spanish and I didn't, but it was neat to see Bryce use his Spanish. He also got to teach one of the guys there a little about our religion. Bryce loved it!!!
We were too tired to go anywhere so we just ate at the hotel. They had a romantic little restaurant on the beach lit with candles perfect for a honeymoon.

Bryce was definitely not dressed for the occasion!
The next day we rented a car and went sight seeing. Bryce wanted to go to a grocery store so he could make me some authentic meals. We got a little lost trying to find the grocery store and ended in the outskirt of town. I wanted to take some pictures, but Bryce freaked out on me, it was a little grungy where we were at and he didn't want to bring any attention to us. It was interesting to me that Mexico has a Wal-Mart, Sam’s club, home depot, McDonalds, Domino’s pizza, and a Mall.

Bryce wanted some goggles, but he had to try them of first. I told him he was being a dirty Mexican.

This is another one of our attempts of trying to blend in. Don't we look like Mexicans? We wanted to buy a sombrero, but neither one of us had any idea what we would do with one.

we saw a sign that said coco frio, so we decided to check it out. Although they are kind of fun looking, they were disgusting!!!

We were there during there Mexican Independent day, so that night they had all sorts of parties going on, but some people there told us that we should go back to our hotel early because things get a little to crazy for us gringos.
The next day we signed up for some activities. We signed up for a tour boat and snorkeling, and a zip line that goes from canyon to canyon.
We were walking around the marina and there were beautiful sail boat and ships, and then we got to ours, it was…festive.

Actually I loved it I wanted something really authentic and that is exactly what I got. The tour took us all around Cabo, to lover’s arch, and to a place where we could go snorkeling.

The guy on the boat told us that we had an hour to go snorkeling and then he would sound the horn, and if we weren’t on the bus, then welcome to Cabo, find a job, and hitch you way back to home. The funny thing is, he meant it. He wasn’t worried about getting sued or anything like that, it is not the Mexico way. The snorkeling was fun. We saw a ton of fish, there were so many by us that I felt like every time I moved I was kicking them. When we got back on the boat they offered us lunch. I was thinking we would get some tacos, or fajitas, or quesadillas, but no we got bologna sandwiches. It was the worst sandwich I have ever had in my life!!! But we also got free drinks, so Bryce and I filled up on virgin pina colada’s.
The Zip lines were a lot of fun too. It was a good workout, there was a lot of hiking involved, and they had 8 different zip lines that went from canyon to canyon.

You could do some different things going down the zip lines, some of them you could go down in twos, they had a line called mariposa, which means butterfly, if you are a gringo, but if you know Spanish then it means something entirely different, it was a little kinky, but I liked it. They had a superman one where you would jump off the cliff, one where you went backwards down, and one where I thought you were suppose to hand upside down, but apparently you can only do that if you are one of the instructors, oops my bad. Luckily we were in Mexico so they didn’t really care.

We were really sweaty and gross when we got back from the zip lines, so I decided to make us a huge bubble bath, only I have never had a real bubble bath with jets so I poured way too much soap in the tub, there were so many bubbles that Bryce and I couldn’t even see each other in the tub.
On the way home the Captain took our picture and let us fly the plane home

It was an amazing honeymoon. I loved spending everyday all day with Bryce. I was really sad to leave and go back to real life, but I was also anxious to see my puppy and get back to America!

Bye Bye Cabo I hope we will get to come back and visit you again someday!!!
